How do I approach and flirt with men without them being annoyed?

I get it sometimes I get annoyed when men I’m not interested in flirt with me especially when I had a boyfriend.

But it seems most of the time when I seen someone hot and I try to get his attention he always seems annoyed and pestered. If I talk to men they generally just seem uninterested or at the very least not picking up on my flirting.

I been rejected many times and it’s killed my confidence and I have rejected men too because they’re not my type. I am not bitter with men I totally understand but.

It’s really just hard. Most my guy friends have girlfriends. Most the people I work with either aren’t my type or in relationships. The list goes on and on.

It’s like sometimes I loiter a bit around a guy I like and he just eventually seems getting annoyed or creeped out by me so I just give up.

I’m not the best looking girl but I’m also not the worst. There is men who do show interest in me but they’re not my type and the men I show interest in I don’t seem to be theirs so….

It could be any number of things, but if they seem consistently annoyed by your advances, perhaps you should shift your approach. Start by becoming acquaintances first; just regular chatting can help build bridges to cross later. And make sure that you are not interrupting something they're concentrating on; we tend to only have the patience to deal with one thing at a time.

My advice is: being a good friend is a prerequisite to being a good girlfriend.

Keep doing it and keep trying. My first thought is if they're annoyed, then it's not worth your time. If a guy doesn't like flirting, then I don't know what's wrong with him -- it's a compliment. There's no obligation. The few exceptions might be if you were flirting with him at work, or while his wife is with him, or he's picking up the kid from school, or something like that. Otherwise, just keep doing it.

Seems like you're not that charming... do you get nervous or something? Either way, guys are more straight forward... Maybe you should be more blunt... Like ask them out or initiate stuff instead of just flirting / low key flirting...

It's a guessing game. You pretty much have to give it a go, and then if they don't respond well to it, stop.
