How often do you get compliments? How do you react if you get one?

I get a lot of compliments on my eyes. My eyes change different shades of blue. It sometimes freaks me out when I'm looking in the mirror, lol because they stand out, especially with certain times of lighting. Sometimes people tell me they're pretty or gorgeous, or they like blue eyes and they've never seen eyes like mine. I don't think they're pretty or gorgeous. I used to wish I had brown eyes, because they would make me look more manly.

Honestly, I blushed the last time this one girl complimented me. That's what I remember of my reaction, lol

Currently none haha, but when I was fit hunk, I always get them from older women and women that know I wasn't interested in them and married women.

Every now and then, especially when I noticeably put effort into my looks, makeup, accessories, outfit, etc. i rarely get complimented when i dont wear makeup 😂. Most of my compliments are from my outfit, “oh i love ur outfit” i remembered in high school, i got a lot of compliments from these knee high high boots id wear (nothing dramatic) even from a teacher. I felt popular 😂 a little ray of popularity.

I do not get compliments. I used to when I wasn’t in a relationship. The compliments used to come thick and fast. I did awkwardly thank people but inside I was intrusively thinking about why they would want to compliment me. I was bought up a compliment from the opposite sex was a sign of interest, and from a female I never trusted them.
In a relationship it’s a different kind of compliment type - it seemed to be compliments on what have cooked/cleaned or the effort I put into a project not about me. I felt like a wall flower most of the time.

At home: I compliment my husband  every day . And, he reciprocates  every day  as well. I  always appreciate  his compliments.  At work: For an outstanding job well done, I'd give a compliment to an employee but that doesn't happen often. Almost always, I'd get compliments for my appearance from employees, clients/customers & strangers whenever I pop in my various offices which I don't do daily. I  usually express gratitude  to them as well.

Often, I say thank you and smile.

When I was 14 my school teacher had a crush on me, he often complimented me, one of my classmates asked me surprised “How is that you are so confident? Everytime someone compliments you you just smile confidently and say thank you. I can’t help but blush. How can I be so confident as you?”

So, I guess that’s it. Most compliments have already been told to me, so I am going to say thank you and smile.

I get them fairly often I'd say. I just normally smile and say thank you so much. I have this horrible habit though of if I'm caught off guard like that I have a tick where I'll instinctually just wink. I also do it when I've been drinking. Which can be dangerous in certain aspects lol. Like I'm not trying to send signals, I'm just defective.

i get tuns of comliments mostly for my smile haur and kindness and heart of gold tes we all have some faults even i do but i help people more than myself with not much help in return but yeah it feels nice to be complimented i also get compliments for a good few other thingdms and it does feel nice to get them

I get some at work as well, and honeatly kind of wiah it stop becouse for each one I get my brain just go"There just trying to be nice/get in your skirt"

I mostly just say thank you, and return the complimate if I wanted to give one, over all I love to give them if I see anything creative

I get compliments pretty frequently. I usually smile and say thank you. I compliment them back if I can. Took me many years of therapy to learn how to just go with it when I get a compliment. My first reaction always used to be questioning the compliment. My self worth was in the toilet during those days. Now I've accepted that I'm awesome 😁

I think I finally learned how to accept a compliment when I was 45. I am now able to give a sincere thank you and smile without any awkwardness and it's such a blessing because the person giving the compliment visibly perks up and I am able see they feel good about being kind.

*sigh*... next to none... like, my outfits get more compliments than my physical body... only complements i ever get are ones my hair and nails... not that i'm sexy, cute, hunky, attractive... just envy-complements and "i like your outfit".
