depends although I couldn't tell ya. I'm def. not a homo and I don't really have any friends who are girls which I avoid having anyways because I'm constantly made fun of for being the one guy who couldn't get a girlfriend let alone befriend a girl. _-_ which is pretty annoying.
if you think it's a risk, then you're thinking too negatively going into the relationship from the start. You're basically thinking "what will happen when it ends" and you should NEVER think that if you want a good serious llong lasting relationship.
why is it bad to consider the risk of it? I think it's just being realistic to think that it could end. you can't bank on something working forever. I'm not saying "be prepared for it to end" I'm just saying you should be aware that it could end... that's not so bad, right?
that attitude is sh*tty from the stat. Even friends have arguments. If you're already going into any relationships think about how it'll end you're dooming yourself, basically a self fulfilling prophecy. Terrible mindset.
I don't see how it's a bad idea, seeing as many people consider their spouse to be their best friend. It would have to go in the right direction and the right time, in my opinion.
not a good idea, because if something happens and you break up then it could hurt your friendship. I came close to dating my best friend but we agreed not to.

It could be amazing or a disaster. There's no I between on this one
It's a good idea only if both of you accept that it may eventually become a long term relationship.
Otherwhise you risk losing a friend.

It's a good idea, and it will result in a long term relationship since both of you are already close to each other.

NO! Never a good idea, because if something happens and you break up, it might ruin your friendship. I came close to dating my best friend and we agreed that we will stay friends

it depends on what level of a best friend relationship it is. id say its a good idea because the person knows your likes and dislikes and how you feel most of the time. but then again that's just what I think

if you can't handle, you lose your best friend.
if you are able to handle a relationship, it's big possible you live happily ever after.
big risk, big chance.
well, let's choice:)
I voted C for this reason.
And I voted A because of my sad experience :)
Had one too but it could have worked out, it just didn't.:\
damn, karma!
good if your older than 20 because when your younger you don't want to lose your best friend and be alone
idk it takes strength
Could be a good idea.
And it being a bad idea... Well it depends how it ends. If it ends in ugly way there might not be returning to friendship.
So I say great idea...
I think it depends on whether or not you're willing to risk the friendship. Also, sometimes best friends make better lovers.

Great Idea because the ice is already broken and each of them know who they are they don't have to fake anything :)
My boyfriend is my best friend so I don't see that being a problem lol
thats the opposite of what he asked though.
alright well my boyfriend was also my best friend ahead of time. Better?
sometimes you're a perfect fit with that person, sometimes you know each other too well. so it depends.
I think it is a bad idea because if you fight or break up it could ruin yout friendship

you'll never know unless you try, it's so worth it when it turns out amazing
Great idea! I think it makes the relationship stronger.
i dated my best friend but things ended. and when they end as a dating relationship, there's a great chance the friendship goes out the window as well
