What should I do if women like me but I'm shy awkward and weird?

Girls like what they like — though not AS visual as guys, if a nice looking guy walks in he’s bound to get a lot of attention, so I get that it may be overwhelming if you’re on the shy side.


Try to have one or two go-to polite moves/lines to sidestep girls you’re not interested and work on your “strong silent type” approach to the ladies you do like. Less is more when it comes to staring at a lady, but a little smile and greeting goes a long way.

I guess I have been trying to do this =D it's just tiny steps as I go.

But girls don't give me time. They are aggressive. They touch too much and flirt too much and I just smile awkwardly and try not to look too much like a weirdo.

I don't know why the girls keep trying. I get so much anxiety about it.

And now I have a girl who I have a crush on and she is touching me and talking to me every day and just being sweet and cute.

And I'm just like why? Why me? I'm such a weirdo it's hard to imagine any woman would like me.

One of my few trusted female friends said to me "who wouldn't like you?" That kind of rocked my boat. I can't imagine women just liking me for me. What woman wants a shy awkward and strange man?

It's hard to break out of it. It's hard to be like the normal people. I appreciate the girls who are sweet to me. I feel like they want to help me get better.

I realise there is no on/off switch that I can merely say.. 'stop being weird and awkward then', because that won't happen. BUT, the more you put yourself in those positions, the more you will learn to adapt to a way you feel not so shy!

Get some therapy to learn how to not be shy awkward and weird. Be thankful for what you've got. Most guys don't get any opportunity from women.

I know I'm very lucky to have what I have but I didn't benefit too much. I would have been an incel for life 100% if I didn't get the attention I get.

I get accused of being an incel for defending incels. I see women from a perspective most men don't get to see. I see things other men never see.

I think that the situation is dire and the incel population will grow until there is a serious society wide backlash from incels. It's going to be a scary time.

Confidence is the best thing to attract women. Just remind yourself that they are nervous too and you have a lot to offer. Don't be an ass , just walk up to them and introduce yourself , then talk to them , the other stuff will come naturally. Don't waste ur life and all ur chances being afraid of them... U will regret it !! The worst thing that could happen is they say no or walk away lol it's uncomfortable but not a big deal just move on until one doesn't.

I just don't want to be a creep though. I don't want women to think that I'm a piece of shit who objectifies women.

So I am always just paralyzed instead.

But all of my fear goes away when we kiss. Then I become Mr. Confident.

But I can't be Mr. Comfident unless I know she likes me, and wants me to direct my sexual energy towards her.

I don't want to be the kind of man who is constantly sharking around for the next woman to use.

Also I'm not good with casual sex I need to know she has love for me or else it's just not enjoyable at all.

Its not that I'm afraid to ask a girl out. It's that I have extremely bad anxiety which is uncontrollable.

And I've had too many interested women's faces turn from smiles to disgust when they see that I am literally shaking from anxiety or that I'm paralyzed and frozen in place.

I can't control it, it's literally impossible.

No woman wants a man like that. Well I guess a few don't care or else I'd be an incel for life.

Been doing it for 15 years. Working very hard. I might be autistic because I still am far less normal than normal people. But I'm a million times better than I used to be.

That's literally impossible for me. My anxiety is so bad I will shake and quiver and have zero way to stop it.

It amazes me that girls show me any attention at all. I know they like confident men and I'm the absolute opposite of that.

I can't just snap my fingers and be confident. Imagine you were getting bullied at school. What's the solution? Oh just become cool, it's easy and you won't get bullied anymore!

But it isn't. It's horrible. I guess I really should be glad any women fuck with me at all. I still can't understand why they bother with a guy like me. But I guess I am glad for those girls who don't seem to care I am far from ideal.

I don't think so. It seems like I have something attractive about me since I do have some women who will approach me. I've even been asked out by random women who saw me outside.

But like I said I will literally shake and quiver the anxiety is so bad. I had a bad life.

I can't say what my attractiveness level is. I am feeling ignorant all I know is some girls like me for some reason.

Well when a girl likes a man some are bold enough to ask them out. I have done it sometimes usually got turned down though.

Yea I always turned down every girl who asked me out. Not because they weren't cute but because I was so scared for her to see the real me. She approaches me and asks me thinking I'm some kind of confident guy but in reality I ain't shit.

So I would always say no no matter what.

Even still some girls would flirt with me and touch me and push me and so on and they just didn't care that I was weird.

I'm lucky for those girls to have done that to me. I love them for seeing past my shyness and not being turned off by me.

Part of why I am so fucked up with women is because I know how horrible men are to women. I don't want to go around flirting and projecting my unwanted sexual energy onto women.

It feels wrong to do that. I feel like I am harassing them. I know guys do go around flirting and projecting and the girls love it.

But I can't do it. I can't do it how those few men do it.

For me I will be 100% platonic with a girl until I know for 100% sure she wants my sexual energy directed at her.
