Why are women so shy and awkward around me?

Whenever i talk with women, they get all smiley, quiet and constantly look down. I mostly get this from women cashiers. It could be an old lady or a very cute girl. I always get stared down by women too and when i catch them they look away. Its weird because im a very well liked person (by guys), but i am a bit on the quiet and reserved side. I've been told my by friends mom that im "big" (6'1" and 200bs) and intimidating looking but once you talk to me im prove otherwise that im intimidating. It makes me feels like there's something odd about my appearance but all i wear are hoodies and jeans. I get stared at too in my work uniform which is a company hoodie and black carhart pants.

I thought it was because im attractive but i would have girls being more open to me. They just stare from a distance and ignore when i get close. I asked a couple female friends on this and one said when I asked her "youre special" which i took as im weird looking. Another point a friend made to me is that im racially ambiguous (im mixed race half filipino and german) so thats why people would stare. I just dont understand women snd never will...

Just knowing what kind of person i am, i find that ridiculous for anyone to be shy around me. Is it a reflex to be shy around guys you find hot?

Ya I'm the same way. Ya, you're nervous because you don't know how to act because you want them to like you too. You don't want to say or do the wrong thing and have them be like "they're so ugly and weird" you know?

I see. I wouldn't know because when i interact with girls i find cute, i just stay me and think in my head she's cute. I could care less about how a stranger feels about me. I also didn't mention i treat men and women the same so my female friends i treat them like my bros and when meeting new people their gender doesn't play a role in the way i introduce myself.

Oh you're one of those guys that do that. Girls probably don't think you like them at all if you greet everyone the same. Girls wanna feel special and different from the rest. But if you're just generalizing everything, they're never gonna notice

Well whats one way to do that? But to be honest im not looking for a girlfriend or a fling. Im quite content being single ever since my last relationship (we were friends before but we both has huge crushes on each other) but before that girls were never weird around me. I feel like before that, i was a brighter person.

When some girls take a first look at me their face looks like they saw something they won't see everyday like shocked. there's no way im cute lol.
