If you unexpectedly bump into someone of the opposite sex that you know and make deep eye contact and a quick hello does it mean anything?

Probably not. I make eye contact with people that get close to me because I want to know if they're going to attack me or try to rob me. It's definitely not an opposite sex only thing.
