I feel inadequate compared to my fling?

I’m flirting with a pilot — he’s successful in his career and quite a bit older than me. He’s very interested in me and seems to really like me, but I sometimes feel inadequate next to him. (It’s not about my looks — I’m actually very confident about that.)

I also studied aviation, but I’m not currently working. Deep down, I sometimes feel like I’m not enough. Do you think this feeling is normal? :(( Would a man care about something like this?

Feeling inadequate because you feel like you’re not where you want to be career wise? If that’s the case, no most men don’t care about that. In all honesty a lot of what you women worry about most men don’t care about it. For one, your financial situation. Unless you’re seriously in debt men will date women working at McDonalds, even marry them if they’re cute to descent looking w a good personality. Men don’t care because a majority of women aren’t going to be the bread winners in a relationship. Meaning even if they made more then the man most women still want the man to take care of things financially. So your money doesn’t benefit him. Two it’s how most men are raised. To take care of their wife, their children both monetarily and protective wise. Education wise, most men again don’t care about that. Men and women don’t usually sit around talking about intellectual things. Just because he’s a rocket scientist doesn’t mean he goes home to talk to her about this stuff. I’m not saying there aren’t men who don’t find that attractive, it’s just to most men it doesn’t matter. So when a girl says well what would a 35 year old have in common w a 20 year or old. They don’t need to have all those things in common. He likes her. He takes her out, goes to dinner, a movie, shopping, a night on the town then he works again. Trust me he’s not turning her down if she’s stacked physically speaking just cause she doesn’t know about politics, the economy or things like that. Women are the ones who look at things like that. What type of job does he have, how much does he make, is he established. As long as you can show him you bring a feminine essence to the relationship, you’re nice, loving caring, mother material, there’s a good chance he will pick you. Most men want a partner like that, but they can’t say such things cause a lot of women will say oh he just wants a slave. No we want women who want the same thing who aren’t going to be masculine, woman’s going to argue w me all the time, start problems.

I’m not saying all men are like that, but a lot of us are. But a lot of men get shamed for wanting a girl like that. What are your plans? You want to be a wife, a mother, or a career woman?

Well just stop being a bum and get a job and you should be fine. Men don't think like women. Women want a guy who is on their level when it comes to income, career, and stuff like that. Most men don't really give a shit about all that when it comes to picking a woman. They just want a woman who will put forth some kind of effort in the relationship and in life and be a contributor instead of dead weight.
