Is vulnerability a turn on for girls?

So last week me and my girlfriend were making out at her place and before we got to the "take it to the bedroom" part she said that she wanted me to do something but was afraid to ask. Being that we're still a few weeks into the relationship I wasn't sure what but told her I was open to whatever. So she asked me to take out my contact lenses. My vision is crap. Without my contacts or glasses anything more than an inch away is just a bunch of shapeless blurs. She knows this. But I went into the bathroom, put my lenses in the case and felt my way back to the living room (yes, I'm THAT blind without them.) and playtime resumed. I didn't think I put in my best performance that night.Honestly it's the first time I've had sex without my contacts. I felt awkward and nervous because I couldn't see. I usually am whenever I can't. But she had no complaints. After I asked her why she wanted me to take out my contacts and she said that she wanted to see my vulnerable side.

While I prefer sex with my contacts in, I'm not opposed to doing this again but I'm wondering how much girls are into vulnerable? I mean is this normal or is my girl a special case?

I find a vulnerable side incredibly attractive. I wouldn't want it to dominate their personality, but knowing that side is there and him being willing to be comfortable showing that side to me I would find very attractive (but in a more emotional than sexual way, but they're both pretty linked though right). I find it quite intimidating and detatched when a guys all front or denies any kind of weakness/vulnerabilty. Makes him seem more human and the relationship more intimate.

It could be a turn on, but it's more of a thing that's cute because you don't see it often in guys. Vulnerability is hard to let show and I guess you could say it's endearing to girls. :) I'd say your girl is a little odd, but I understand where she's coming from. So don't worry :)

your girl does sound very special but she's not the only one who likes to see a guys vulnerable side. Sometimes guys can put up a front and don't let girls in so its nice when they can let down those walls and really connect with us. i wear glasses and am very short sighted when I take them off ... however, I don't mind either way just means I need to be a bit closer to my guy to see his face ... he doesn;t complain

I don't think I would say it's a turn on for me but it kind of makes me nervous if a guy tries being vulnerable with me. I don't really ever let myself be vulnerable so I don't know what to do when a guy is.
