Re-frame from texting that. It will make you look like your weak. Never appear weak to an ex. That is what they want so they can manipulate you. Excel beyond that and take his brutish child play. He is nothing but a pretentious ex boyfriend seeking acceptance from others when he does not deserve it. In order to receive respect, he must be willing to give it.

it was a messy relationship. it ended in bad terms. at the same time, I know that is how he is, in general. he used to text me everyday and respond right away...before. I almost want to remind him of that.

Ignore this guy. Its not worth it. Maybe he just doesn't care. Give him all the space in the world and maybe that will give him an opportunity to miss you. I don't know how it ended or what happened but I would just go out and do your own thing maybe try going no contact.

I wouldn't bother with him. He doesn't seem to care so why should you waste your time caring. I spent 5 years in a relationship being the only one who cared. Its no way to live.

I gave up and walked away from the relationship. It just about killed me becasue I felt like a failure for giving up and despite him not caring at all I still loved and cared for him. I honestly thought he was the guy I was going to be with the rest of my life. I just finally got tired of giving my everything and not getting the same in return.
