Cooking's not that hard... It's even more easy cuz you can look up recipes on the internet... Or get a Crock-Pot, that's really cooking made easy... Take a roast, season with salt, pepper, and whatever other seasonings you like, their in some carrots, potatoes, onions and set to low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours and voila easy delicious meal 🙂
Yes... And any roast... beef roast, pork roast Hell I made my Thanksgiving Turkey in the slow cooker last year, no basting needed and it was the best juiciest turkey I've ever made and want to say ever had, just not as browned or pretty, was going to put in oven to brown, but it was so tender it was just failing apart... Definitely making it that way again this Thanksgiving
Go for it.. It's not hard... Chopping a few veggies, season meat and throw together, that's it... It turns out cuz it cooks in its own juices... You can look up crock pot recipes online as well for more ideas or times and learn to adjust the recipes to your liking
Doing good, yourself? Add another user said they're good, don't see much difference in taste, but they seem softer, less hard then regular potatoes... One time soft, less hard might be a good thing 🤣🤣🤣
Never try the progressive cheddar broccoli soup, it's disgusting 🤮 Plus I just don't care for canned soup as much anymore, if not homemade, get the bagged soups some are really quite good and taste almost a good as Homemade... My neighbor made chicken tortilla bagged soup one time and it was really good! Think next soup I'll make is butternut squash soup... Made it once for my daughters and made corn fritters sand it was simple good filling meal to make
I tried a butternut squash & apple soup before, it was in a fancy restaurant for a work night out. It was actually amazing, never got any soup like it.
Hmm I might have to try that 🤔I make a mean pulled pork... came up with my own special blend of seasoning to session the fish I baked for me and my daughter last time she was here and she loved it... And must say the turkey I made after Thanksgiving last year was the juiciest turkey think I've ever had... We went to my sister's for Thanksgiving so want planning on cooking but my neighbor gave me a huge turkey and I just threw it in the slow cooker with some seasonings and man, best turkey ever, even the leftovers didn't get dry like can sometimes happen, didn't look as pretty, brown as basting/cooking in oven, but definitely making the same way this year
😊 A relative of mine is a fine restaurant chef, and some dishes he cooks for family functions are amazing, even basic curry dishes are outstanding. You will certainly eat well in future.
So with her doing the cooking, it will allow you more free time to enjoy life a little.
I 100% agree, hate cleaning up the mess, which is why lately I tend to have quick an easy meals prepared from weekend, as I can be late home some evenings.
Exactly! I used to cook for the week on the weekend, so that after work I didn't have to deal with that... Or that's where a Crock-Pot comes in handy throw a seasoned roast, done potatoes, carrots, onions, in a Crock-Pot set it on low and you can still come home to delicious meal, no muss no fuss 🙂
I do have a crock pot/slow cooker in my kitchen, but I honestly never use it. It eould be better if cooking for a few people, seems kind of waste if for one.
I am trying to eat more healthy these days, but still sometimes stick pizza in oven or something equally as ready made.
Right... I learned the hard way eat first before asking a food question 😂I asked a grilling question once, hadn't eaten and omg the replies made me so hungry and wanting to eat what they was making, not anything I had here lololol
I thought that was just me, I get so sleepy after I eat... Why I never ate when I'm working.. I couldn't understand how people could eat so much on lunch break and then go back to work... If I'd a done that, they'd a found me passed out in a corner somewhere 😂
😂 people freaked the one time I did eat at lunch and it was only a cup of soup from the Subway across the street and cuz a group of us were going to the bar after work and didn't wanna drink on an empty stomach
Yeah, Americans seem To put sugary spreads on their toast, I don't think you have anything similar. On the flight over to the states, an Ozzie girl and I raided the onboard kitchen on the plain, we got drunk with an American dude, got in trouble off the flight attendants. Very funny. They put us in the kitchen to shut us up, between the three of us we drank an entire litre of whiskey in about 2 hours.

Ah talking of Turkey is making my mouth water 🤤, I love it. Pulled pork is the business if the spices or sauce is just right. You are talented then 😉
Not really lol no gourmet chef by any means but my girls seem to enjoy and they've both turned out to be good Little cooks themselves so 👍👍
Thats good, at least you pass the skills on.
My older daughter works as a cook at a country club so she learning from the head chef there, so I'm sure she'll be a better cook then me lol
Oh cool, she most likely will in that case.
Good then she can cook for me 👍🙂
😊 A relative of mine is a fine restaurant chef, and some dishes he cooks for family functions are amazing, even basic curry dishes are outstanding. You will certainly eat well in future.

I actually like cooking sometimes... It's the clean up part that's no fun lol
I 100% agree, hate cleaning up the mess, which is why lately I tend to have quick an easy meals prepared from weekend, as I can be late home some evenings.

Yeah I do that lately too, but trying to get away from that... Why made the soup today although still feel hungry lol
Yeah soup is tasty, but usually not filling enough for me. I'm feeling like eating now after all this food talk
Right lol
Ahaan... This post got me hungry
Right... I learned the hard way eat first before asking a food question 😂I asked a grilling question once, hadn't eaten and omg the replies made me so hungry and wanting to eat what they was making, not anything I had here lololol
Rofl, these cravings I tell you.. can make anyone crazy
Food is first love for me
Eating it I agree, the clean up part not as fun lololol
I hate washing dishes... It's like please let me lie on floor and sleep after food😂😂
I thought that was just me, I get so sleepy after I eat... Why I never ate when I'm working.. I couldn't understand how people could eat so much on lunch break and then go back to work... If I'd a done that, they'd a found me passed out in a corner somewhere 😂
Absolutely hilarious 😂
😂 people freaked the one time I did eat at lunch and it was only a cup of soup from the Subway across the street and cuz a group of us were going to the bar after work and didn't wanna drink on an empty stomach

Vegemite on toast.
Not too sound stupid lol but what's that 🤔
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegemite
Thanks.. See you can learn something new every day! It said it's slightly bitter and salty?
Yeah, Americans seem To put sugary spreads on their toast, I don't think you have anything similar.
