I made a MyTake about our cuisine. Guide to a "Proper" Filipino cuisine experience ↗ but my top three recommendation from it is Sisig, Sinigang and Crispy Pata.
Or there might be something in this vid you'd find interesting.
Our cuisine just have really particular taste. You have food that's salty, sweet and sour. One tastes garlicky, the other one tastes oniony, then gingery, vinegary, etc. In my opinion, having just one kind of our food just tastes boring that's why food with really particular tastes are meant to have flavors to be built in your mouth. That guy in the video having many varieties in one place, he's doing it right! At least in my opinion lol. But we still have that habit of filling our plates with different kinds of food like it's a part of the culture.

Made from game rather than livestock. Preferably elk.
"Raggmunk" with slices of pork.
A sort of pancake made with shredded potatoes. Served with salted, fried pork and cranberry jam.
Smoked flundra. Now, grilling is rather huge in Sweden and while a bit more uncommon I feel you havn't experianced swedish cousine if you havn't taste Smoked fish, particularly flundra. Goes well with a bit of butter, sourcream and onions.
Singapore. Too many fave dishes to chose from.
Hainanese Chicken rice - Steamed chicken served with rice cooked in chicken stock. It's delicious and can be found almost everywhere. I will never get tired of it.Nasi Lemak - Malay-style fragrant rice dish cooked in creamy coconut milk and pandan leaf. It comes with fried chicken wings, anchovies, peanuts and sambal chilli-paste sauce and taste amazing.
Roti Prata - South-Indian flat bread dish, usually served with fish or mutton curry. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with your choice of plain or egg prata.
Also one of my fave dishes.

Biltong and Droewors - often made from beef or game like Springbok, ostrich, wild boar, etc. Cured in vinegar, salt, coriander and pepper (sometimes chilli, garlic, etc)Boerewors - meaning “Farmers Sausage” lol. made from beef mixed with pork or lamb and sometimes all three and spices (not hot spices)
Bunny chow- half a loaf of bread, hollowed out and a curry (Rogen josh more often than not) inside. Created by an Indian immigrant community in Kwa-Zulu Natal and considered as street food.

My favourites are the following:
1. Chicken tikka masala (must try if you love chicken and spices)2. Kashmiri kofta curry (if you want a curry that's creamy and not very spicy)
3. Kheer (a delicious dessert, can taste floral or like custard depending on the ingredients and best when refrigerated for some time)

Honestly its so hard because we in germany have so many different regions. Each region basically has their own "national" Dishes. One thing I can name though is our bread diversity. From lye rolls (never knew that word in English before) to all kinds of brown bread. Often served with butter and cheese or cold cuts. Where I life at the moment I would say its deffinetly "schäufele" pig shoulder meat. But that is even for tourist inside germany a speciality from our region.
Regional German food:
- Maultaschen (dumpling filled with mixed meat)
- Schupfnudeln mit Kraut (potato dough with sauerkraut)
- Schnitzel mit Spätzle (Breaded roasted pork with egg noodles)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swabian_cuisineMy friend from Romania 🇷🇴 once served "Pulpe pur pu pui LA cuptor si kartofi " and whatever it was it was AMAZING. OTHER than that take a trip to Tokyo and have sushi. Amazing!!! There's a restaurant in shibuya (Yamanote subway line/green line) right across from Shianagarwa Station has amazing food!!! It's 100% smoking seats though so uhhh...
Hmm. I’m Indian, so lots of good food where I’m from.
1. id recommend Poori (with masala, of course)?
2. Then definitely Kasi, Badam, Carrot and Beetroot Halwas (s), but the latter 3 won’t really be good if someone who isn’t talented tries making them.
3. Errr also probablyyyyy gods this is really hard but you should try Idly and Dosa if you haven’t already. Or maybe just some good old rice with curry. I don't know, Tamil Nadu cuisine is just spectacularCabbage rolls with tomato sauce, slowly cooked beef rolls with brown sauce and meat ball soup (Königsberger Klopse). I'm Pomeranian, we don't consider pierogi, bigos and other polish dishes as our own.
