What's your favorite pancake topping?

Question

Currently making some pancakes and wondering what other people like to have on theirs?

I typically like having some bacon but I don't have that today so I think I will be doing some fried banana and yoghurt

I like them savoury and sweet.

for savoury it’s invariably bacon (British not American) with a quail egg.

For sweet, the last ones where strawberries, raspberries, ice cream and local honey.

usually would not have the ice cream, and it’s a toss up between maple syrup and local honey.

i like having the sweetness of the strawberries and the sharpness of the raspberries.

i had to cook pancakes for 20 the other day, mainly fruit but also chocolate spread, various savoury ones, such as scrambled egg or poached egg and bacon.

Maple syrup is typically adequate. My first taste of sweet and salty combined came when my dad made polish sausage waffles with maple syrup. I LUV’D it! Occasionally, i’ll get a pancakes or waffles with a blueberry compote or the like. That’s delightful too!

TBH, I never really have toppings on my pancakes (usually just butter and honey or syrup), but if I had to choose, probably banana, strawberry or raspberry.

Oh geese! That sounds delicious! I really like chocolate chips and blueberry’s. But okay also really like maple syrup so I would gladly choose plan pancacks so I could pout peanut butter and maple syrup on it.

Usually loads of butter and syrup. Maybe a sprinkling of powder sugar. Sometimes, I'll sprinkle regular sugar on one and roll it up like a Ho-Ho and eat it that way.
