Hey if anyone is in Ireland or visited what are your favorite snacks?

So I have this coworker he moved here from Ireland I don't know him horribly well. But I get everyone a little gift every year so

I want to get him some snacks from Ireland because I think he misses it there but I don't know what snacks are in Ireland and maybe try to keep it to things I can legally get in the USA?

I'm not irish but Taytos crisps and Barry's tea are the first thing that spring to mind.

If you fancy a bit of baking irish soda bread is easy to make as is barmbrack (irish version of bara brith). Don't forget the Guinness or irish whiskey.

One of the weirdest irish snacks I've heard of is Chinese curry sauce. I was told by an irish friend when chip shops first started selling it irish people would buy cartons to drink like a hot drink.

Be warned, getting anything exported from Ireland to the mainland is a nightmare. I'm not sure how bad it is to America but if it goes via England expect long delays.

A lot of Irish or British (they share a lot of foods) import shops will have many options for you; see if you can find a local one. As to what to get specifically... it can vary wildly. You may want to just ask him.

I'm not really sure. I don't really know him that well I work as a cake decorator and he's kinda like a manager so it's not like I'm around him a lot I might see him once a week or something so unfortunately I don't know what part I just know it's Ireland
