What's your favorite summer dessert?

I went to a BBQ today and I made my fav... strawberry shortcakes 🍓

Not big on sweets so this isn't necessarily a dessert but um Snowballs... I prefer Bubblegum/Margarita/Peach Trio

@DizzyDesii oh, I'd say that's a dessert! I haven't had one of these in forever ~ sometimes they have them at carnivals by me. I have never seen peach flavor but that sounds yum! 🙂

I like an apple pie with ice cream. I would have ordered the party sized cake at red lobster but they have one fatal flaw in their set up which is that they put ice cream on the cake so you have to eat it within 15 minutes after its made. If there was no ice cream, you could store it and eat a little bit every day and then consume a party sized cake over a 1-2 week period, but since they put ice cream on the cake, you have to it the whole thing in 15 minutes and we don't have that many people in my house that can eat that much ice cream in 15 minutes.

Ice cream. Chocolate, chocolate with fudge swirls, praline, vanilla with chocolate or caramel swirls, dulce de leche, and Irish cream are my favorite flavors.
Root beer floats.
My favorite is a chocolate malt made with vanilla ice cream and lots of chocolate syrup and malt powder.

2. The goated Jeni’s flavor
3. Cook Out shake, specifically banana pudding. With a spoon.
4. Watermelon with NOTHING ELSE. No salt, feta, no nothing!!

i was just talking about making strawberry shortcake with my partner yesterday! we are making that today for dessert along with our grilled hotdogs/hamburgers (veggie versions for me)

Strawberry cake.
- thin sand cake bottom (max. 3cm thick)
- thick custard pudding layer (at least 2cm thick)
- fresh garden strawberries
- thick and clear strawberry jelly layer made on base of some natural juice (pineapple, apricot or cherry)

My daughters and I traveled up north to see family and on the way home we stopped at a A&W restaurant. It was the same restaurant that I used to go to when I was a little kid..
We ordered, and each of us got a large root beer float. I usually can’t tolerate that much sugar but I hadn’t had one like that since I was a little kid so I was gonna do it. We all ate all her food and we all drank the whole root beer float. When I paid the bill, I make sure the lady knew that I appreciated the fact that they kept an efficient and clean good quality restaurant operational for all these years and I was grateful that I was able to share a fun memory from my childhood with my own kids.
