Today, my dance instructor offered to make me tea. He was a bit ill and needed to drink something warm during class, and asked if I would want some too. I agreed, because I like tea. We drank tea and talked a bit. I thought IT was a very nice thing to do as usually people in most workplaces in my city don't do IT. You have to make your own tea/coffee or go but some on your own in Starbucks or other coffee shop. This Simple act of kindness made me feel better and happier. How do you feel in such situations?
Depends on situation. If someone is visiting me I offer them coffee or tea and I'm expecting they offer me tea or coffee too when I visit them. I have a full automatic coffee machine that turns with one button push whole beans in coffee with milk foam, so making coffee isn't a big deal for me.
Otherwise I don't take invitation of random people for tea or coffee, because it means they want something.

i think that's wonderful, you have a nice teacher
and my partner does this for me all of the time, it's very caring and endearing
Nothing. I drink Red Bull and take cans of it anywhere where one might conceivably be drinking caffeine. It kinda cuts out any potential for tea / coffee related questions.

It’s sweet. I feel like it’s an act of being hospitable, kind of like when you have a guest over at your house.. you would ask them if they would want some bottled water, tea, coffee, juice etc
I don't drink neither.
Coffee please and thank you
I like it
