I've made a good few things that are... well interesting to say the least but the ones that stick out to me the most were some muffins which were like little rocks. No one was eating those unless they didn't mind a few broken teeth. π
I can think of one thing that was not a good idea. I once couldn't decide whether I wanted a grilled cheese or a hotdog, so I combined the two. Sliced up the leftover hotdog, put it on the cheese on top of the slice of bread in the pan. Then I added relish, ketchup, mustard, and then another slice of cheese & bread. Needless to say, it didn't taste as good as it sounded. I called it the condiment grilled cheese sandwich. I know one person on here that would puke at the thought & smell of all of those condiments... and we're not saying who. She knows who she is.

I bought a meat grinder on Amazon. I had the bright idea that I would save a fortune. The grinding part only takes a few minutes, but the cleaning takes about 42 hours. I'm working on refraining from bright ideas. LOL

I forgot I had 8 burgers on the grill one time. They made great flying saucers. They didn't even break when they hit the ground or the tree

Well... I tried making chocolate truffles with melted crunch chocolate bar and instead of cream I used condensed milk.
The result was atrocious and that shit could never get solid. They were runny no matter what I did and no matter how much chocolate I added
Worst part is that it is simple as fuck to make them but I botched it!I do not cook very much but when I was unemployed during covid I taught myself how to make a few things. Mostly fried fish and chicken, I cooked a rib roast and I baked bread. I did my research and watched some videos and was careful not to make a mistake. This summer I want to fry a turkey.

A few months ago. It was some Marie Callender's cornbread mix from the supermarket. I didn't know if it was a bad batch or that's how they thought it was supposed to taste, but it had a terrible bitter flavor in it.
