Does anybody buy or use best food mayonnaise?

If so have you noticed that they changed the clear plastic container that it's in into a darker plastic and also have you noticed if you turn it upside down and look at the bottom of it it looks really like dirty and moldy. I was just curious if best food products are like that everywhere

The dark color on the bottom is the concentration of color in the new plastic, which is supposed to be more biodegradable. They're working on changing it back because it does make the mayo look horrible. It's still fresh and delicious as always though (called Hellman's on the East Coast).

I'm not aware of Best Foods products. We use Duke's mayonnaise, always excellent texture, taste and freshness.

Companies often change their packaging to reduce waste and cut costs, and to try to be more eco-friendly. Perhaps the new container is made from recycled plastic.

I do not see Best Foods products where I live but maybe switching to a darker plastic isa way to block ultra violet light and prevent spoiling. I do not know why the bottoms of the jars are dirty.

Yeah they're not actually dirty they just look dirty it looks like it's mold but there you know it's pure clean mayonnaise inside but I think you could be right there

Yeah that's a good idea thank you I think I will do that I mean this is been going on for quite a while now and I would think that best foods would look at the bottom of there mayonnaise jar and they would think what everybody else would think that looks like mold I believe it's just a dark plastic but when you're buying something in that moment and if you don't know it's the dark plastic you're not going to buy it
