What kind of condiment, topping, filling or sauce you like with pancakes?

Crepes for me are just "pancakes", I like them with whipped cream and yam, or sometimes just with a little sugar.
Waffles are for ice cream and chocolate.
Pancakes, which basically is the same as skonsur which I grew up with (they call them American pancakes here in Denmark) I enjoy cold with butter and cheese, shrimp,- or tuna salad.
I know, for me too.
I agree.
We also call them American pancakes.
I like real maple syrup. Worth the money to get the good stuff.
Yup, expensive, but excellent choice.
I don't think he can vote, but he always expresses his opinion ;)
You're welcome
As a born and raised Canadian, my answer is and will always be maple syrup. Drown them in it. It should be maple syrup with waffles and pancakes. Not waffles and pancakes with maple syrup.
I will say that jam or jelly would be my second go-to though.
Palacinke "crepes" w/ nutella or eurocrem or some sort of jam jelly
Or Lino Lada, jel tako? ;)
Growing up no, Lino and Kras werent in my pantry, maybe as chocolate candy or choco milk powder..
Aha, znaΔi Dorina Δokolada i KraΕ‘ ekspres.

When it comes to pancakes, waffles, and crepes, the possibilities are endless. A personal favorite of mine is a classic yet delightful combination of Nutella spread with fresh strawberries or bananas. The rich, chocolatey flavor of Nutella paired with the fruity notes creates a heavenly taste experience. Alternatively, a simple drizzle of maple syrup with a pat of salted butter is timeless and comforting. During my travels in France, I discovered the joy of honey and lemon on crepes, a deliciously refreshing pairing that can't be missed. 🍓🥞

Marmalade but I like sometimes just thin layer of powdered sugar on the top.
Two of my favorites- orange, and typically together! :- )
I always pick like, fruit. Something with fruit is good.
Waffles - go to the waste bin
Crepes - nothing beats ''Suzette'' to me, preferably using 'Cointreau'
Pancakes - Grandma made awesome folded ones with a filling of a thick, creamy ''sauce'' made from whitehead mushrooms, with lots of onions - and caraway seeds.
Crepes, lemon juice and sugar... it's a British thing
Waffles here you generally only find the Belgian sugar nibbed ones (possibly also chocolate dipped but that is too much personally) rather than fresh
Pancakes are real butter, proper maple syrup and blueberries
For pancakes, I like butter and maple syrup. Can't go wrong with that. I usually don't eat sweets and especially for breakfast but if I do have some pancakes, that's how I like it.
Sometimes maple syrup like Canadians. Sometimes Nutella, sometimes just sugar air completely without anything.
But most of the time it's Apple sauce and sugar.
Syrup for waffles, blueberry jam for pancakes, honey for crepes, also some powdered sugar doesnβt hurt
Yeah maple syrup is still my fave tho sometimes I do like other toppings..
If I scratch cook waffles or pancakes, they will usually have blueberries in them. Toppings will be more fruit, marmalades, jams, butter, Polish Fruit Syrup, etc.
Bacon and cheese grilled with the pancakes or crepes, but if im craving sweet, it would be strawberries with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
Savory pancakes, interesting.
Its a real thing here in the Netherlands
I know, I also like salty pancakes with cheese and spinach.
Nothing.
Good pancakes/waffles/crepes/crumpet etc do not require spread.
Only shit/tasteless ones do.
So you prefer just plane pancakes with no condiments... ok, you have a good point.
peanut butter with syrup and chocolate chips or banana, sometimes both!
High quality maple syrup... Cannot be beaten!
For me, it's butter c:

Wow you two lololo
You forgot the classic lemon juice and sugar
You put juice on pancakes? Interesting, I've never tried it.
It's the most popular topping in the UK. Shops sell out of lemons come pancake day
I thought people in the UK prefer marmalade. Well, now I know something new.
@j_ortan Not everyone else, only Americans call them crepes.
For me, those are real pancakes. Their pancakes we call American pancakes.
Actually, American pancakes aren't pancakes they're welsh crempogau. Pancakes are what the French call crepes just a bit thicker. All types are collectively known as griddle cakes
Interesting, crempogau, thanks for the info.
French people usually say that crepes are different than pancakes by thickness.
Syrup for waffles and pancakes. I think they put cream on crepes?
On a Waffle vanilla Ice Cream hot fudge.
Butter (not margarine)
Indeed, butter is so much better than margarine.
Ummm where's the vanilla ice cream choice?
H) Vanilla ice cream

Nutella for sure goes with everything.
