What cuisine, outside your local food, do you dine on the most?

British food does not really have the reputation to be gourmet food even though @purplepoppy does a fantastic job at letting the world know about local British cuisine.
I try to eat as much Mediterranean types of food, mostly based on vegetables like tomatoes, olives, cucumbers and peppers with olive oil and all kinds of nuts such as walnuts or pine nuts.
However, if I want to be totally honest, spaghetti and other "unhealthy" foods are also part of my diet, mainly when I am in school and have no time to have a decent meal. I will take a salad and some chunks of chicken.
Looking at your picture, I actually have a craving from time to time for Korean food with delicacies such as Kimchi, Bulgogi or chapche (japchae).
British cuisine is gourmet if done properly. The problem is too many times places take quick cuts or substitute ingredients to save money and you end up with a naff dish. It's particularly bad in tourist areas where places aren't fussed about reputation.
@purplepoppy while not the same, we had an Irish pub where I live. Guy that owned it was from Ireland, so he made sure it was authentic. They did throw some British affair in too, like fish and chips and Yorkshire pudding as specials.
It was really good. Sadly, they closed for winter storm damage years ago and never reopened.
@purplepoppy Where I live, there are not enough fancy places that prepare real British cuisine. My city is basically a place with mopstly low cost food to cater for all the students on a low budget.
Thai when I go out. I like Thai cuisine at most from all east Asian cuisines. At home it's mostly Italian french mix.
When my wife and I dine out, the ethnic food we most often eat is Thai.
We also have Mexican food frequently.
I would go for Korean if there was a Korean restaurant near us.
We also like Indian lunch buffets a lot but the one near us no longer has those.
Outside the local food, it's mostly Italian, Indian and Chinese food.
But I've tried many other different type of cuisine.
I also like Japanese, Mexican, Korean, Greek...
Greek doggies XD
Oh, look, James likes Italian and Japanese too XD
He’s got a limp noodle.
I wonder what Laura likes, but she won't answer :P
Laura likes bytes of different things, because she’s a slut.
Thanks for the MHO
Sure, I remembered this time to give them out. XD
Finally ;)
It would be difficult to pick only one, but Italian and Japanese cuisine delight me equally. Italian cuisine's pasta and risottos are so comforting. Each dish tells a story from its region, like a Florentine steak or Roman carbonara. 🍝 Japanese flavors offer such precision and balance. Whether savoring sushi, a simple ramen, or an intricate kaiseki meal, it's a true spectacle of taste and presentation. These cuisines are my soothing escape from the everyday. 🍣

Who said anything about "local food"?
I mostly eat Cornish Pasties, frozen Pizzas, bean burgers, Frankfurters, microwaved Beef Burgers (with salad on), Steak Slices... and snack on Kabanos.
Indian, Japanese, there is a lot of Korean BBQ popping up all over the place the last 5-10 years.
