I'm in New Orleans with the bestie and we're thinking about trying it. Is it good? I've heard it makes you hallucinate. Is that true?

I have. It's not going to do what you think it will. It just tastes like overproof alcohol (fucking terrible). It'll get you drunk, but it makes you hallucinate less than weed (and that's not even a hallucinogen. Not really).

You need to get yourself some mushrooms and a safe place to be for several hours. That will make you hallucinate. Absinth is disappointing. It's way way way over-hyped.

Never tried it but the whole hallucination depend on how high the percentage of alcohol is in France they lowered it so it does not make one hallucinate anyone, in Spain if I'm not mistaken the degree of alcohol is higher in America I have no idea but as long as it's not 90 % you should be good Xd

I had it in Prague and it was kinda heavy but potent. I can't remember much of it afterwards but didn't recall having a hangover (maybe I was still pissed I don't know). It's pretty good though.

I never had it. I think the stuff that they make today is just high octane booze and will not make you hallucinate. The real stuff is illegal to make and it is hard to find.

I quite like the stuff, but in moderation only. I never had ''issues'' myself, but the ex-wife regularly went very horny when she had some.

That wouldn't be real absinthe, it was banned in the U. S. over 100 years ago and has never been legalized, so they sell other licorice-flavored liquors as absinthe. In some countries in Europe it is legal again.

It's just another liqueur. Try it and see if you like it. It won't make you hallucinate.

I had a 60% absinthe and let me tell you, two shots of that and I was NOT going to be well enough to drive even after several hours. It was quite tasty though.
