Do you marinate them or put steak sauce on them?
Unfortunately only marinating in monosodium glutamate over 12h and adding garlic/spice butter at the end of roasting can increase steaks taste.
All those sauces add some kind of glutamate, phosphates and some umami taste amplifier.
Proper made Demi-glace sauce or reduced Au jus as addition will make meat better, unfortunately it's just cheating like glutamate flavoring.
For making steak more tender pineapple, papaya or pear juice make steaks more tender due enzymes which soften collagen bonds without causing proteins fold together.
Always marinate meats and fish the night before in wine, olive oil and spices.
Just those? Wine, olive oil, and spices?
Usually some kind of marinade or rub, or Montreal steak seasoning. I'm not one of those retards that think every steak should only be seasoned with salt and pepper. Not every steak is that good and it's not the Great depression anymore. There's more seasonings than salt and pepper.
As for steak make sure it’s at room temperature & if it’s a good cut salt it up, pepper it up & sear it in butter. Afterwards give it some grill marks, cook it & before you remove it from the grill or a hot pan sauce it up & let the steak rest for about five to ten minutes.

Don't tend to marinate. Good ol salt pepper and butter, garlic herbs in the pan. Sauce is good too l like a nice jus
Just a little salt then olive oil before cooking or cook in butter. but a good sauce goes well too
I don’t need to a good steak 🥩has its own flavor. A1 steak sauce is too strong. It will ruin it. Its cheap sauce
Depends. If its a prime cut of beef then the flavour is already in it so other than frying in butter nothing.
Always poke holes into the steak with a fork, then add salt, pepper, olive oil. A good steak doesn't need a ton of extra flavour
it depends on the cut... and how do you plan to enjoy it
Baste it with butter, garlic, and rosemary. Nothing else is needed ✨
If it's a higher quality steak, butter, salt , pepper. If it's a lower quality, I will add the butter plus Sirloin Seasoning from Texas Roadhouse.
I don't understand the love people have for steak. For me, steak is like trying to chew through an old shoe and equally as tasteless.
splashing tons of butter is how the big steakhouses do it, Peter Luger, Keens
I worked at a restaurant called the Beanstalk when I was a kid. They had this marinade made with chili sauce and pineapple juice with some garlic and red wine. It was Devine. 24 hour job.
I brush them with olive oil and season them just before grilling them.
Salt and pepper only. Burying the taste of a good sirloin in some sauce does not make any sense
Anything more than salt, pepper, garlic and maybe some herbs is a waste of a good steak
Salt and Pepper, then maybe some steak or Worcester sauce If I feel like it.
My mom marinates them and my pops cooks them
I buy good steaks and know how to cook so they neither need marinating or sauce.
A1? Hell no!!! That’s ruining the steak!!! 🤦♂️ I use a marinade that has thousand island dressing and Coca Cola, then I season them with Brock Lesnar blend seasoning. It’s like an F5 but on your tastebuds.
Just as they are, a little salt and peppr before cooking
I combine both, but my steaks are vegetarian.
I don't eat steak.
I just grill it, woodsmoke does the business
Salt, pepper and I use beef tallow or butter
I just add some AI Sauce to it.
Well cooked
I don’t like steak.
We do both.
Salt.
