I think it's probably time to actually deep clean and get rid of the stuff that I won't ever use. the 3 spice racks long gone but the spices are still there. the jello boxes that are good in theory but i'll never make. special boxed recipes that are for special occasions that never come. i'm going to make it a priority to use what i have.
i might donate some stuff but i won't throw it away. i have a bunch of canned goods that i'm never in the mood for. why do we buy things on a full stomach? my father eats food day to day. he doesn't like wasting and that's his only good quality that i learned from him lol but i don't have the luxury of deciding on whether that meal is at a restaurant or at home. i really stopped eating out 25 years ago.
so be it a pie, cookies or pasta with tuna; i'm going to change some of my habits, or at least try to. this is a personal choice and my way of boycotting prices (that don't affect me). i wish we didn't have to eat at all. i wish hunger wasn't a thing.
i'll give myself one rule. i can buy milk. if it needs eggs then i'll prioritize so only leftover eggs can be boiled. Anyways, what's your pantry ideology?
