I like pasties. I have them quite often.
I never had any of those other Cornish dishes.
I live near a town that was settled by Cornish hard rock miners during the California gold rush.
Pasties are now a tradition in that town. There is one particular pasty kitchen that I like a lot. I buy several at a time and keep them in the freezer to heat up in the toaster oven when I'm in the mood.
They have expanded to have beef and also sausage, chicken, and cheese-broccoli. They have apple ones, too. I like the traditional beef but I like the sausage ones more.
When I was a kid, there was a pasty shop that we would pass on occasion. My family is of Irish origin and knew about pasties. We would stop at that place when we were in the area. So I got introduced to pasties at an early age.
I always eat them with ketchup.
The Cornish have been mining tin for thousands of years. Once the mines closed they migrated to work in mines all over the world
I grew up on pasties. I haven’t had one in years though. I probably have just the right hot sauce for that!
If that hevva cake is unlike any other fruitcake i’ve ever tried, i’d be willing to try it. There is something terribly wrong with how we do fruitcakes here.
Cornish pasties are very popular in Mexico but they spice them up
What’s the fifth country? England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, that’s four.
I’ve never had them but they all look good.
I think Cornland which is like the south west of England is culturally distinct from the rest of England
@Cute_User513 it is! Well, Cornwall actually. But she said six countries, and England Wales Scotland Northern Ireland and Cornwall are only five countries.
I got it confused but ok! I don’t know any others then
@Cute_User513 I think the asker might’ve meant to say fifth country and said sixth by accident.
Oh! Oh! Shouldn't we have this instead to commemorate the Christian Badger and everything?
There's a beer for every occasion
For me, the standout is a really well-made Cornish pasty 🥟
That golden, blistered crimped crust with the slight sheen of butter looks incredible. When you crack it open and see the layers of beef, potato, swede and onion, it feels rustic and celebratory at the same time. It captures Cornwall’s mining history and still looks like proper feast food for St Piran’s Day.

This is the corn that I like poppy American corn dogs at its finest

I've made them out of curiosity. It's surprising they're not a thing here.
Oh wow, I've never experienced any of it but this makes me wanna buy a plane ticket and binge eat across Cornwall. First 4 items look great. Not a cheese guy or into fruitcake. I may have to rethink my attitude towards UK native foods.
Also from the UK that makes me drool like a St Bernard.
I was torn between cornish pastries and the scones with jam and cream. I have doubts about the later (other than major health concerns).
Devon invented them and Devon is not quite Cornwall on my map. You have thrown in a trick answer, which would be just like you to do, so you can laugh at us.
Cornish Game Fowl, cooked in a schlemmertoff, clay dutch oven. Stuffed with Stove Top Dressing, or Stuffed with Lemon. Fall apart on your fork.
Pasty first, cream tea second. I don't think I've tried the others.
I think the scones with jam looks like the best choice
Well, as a vegetarian, I'd have to choose between C, D, E and F.
Cornish pasty
Saffron buns
I'll take the Yarg. 🧀
