According to the internet, no, Italy didn't invent pasta, China did. My first thought was China because there are a lot of dishes they make with noodles in them.

Nah, grain based noodles were developed more or less independently and in parallel by several cultures from North Africa to China. The Italians just made it a cultural obsession and elevated it to a staple food. Thanks Italy! Well, thanks to all our ancestors actually.

Nope. And also not the Chinese like some say because not every noodle is pasta. Pasta originates from the middle east and the Italians then got it from Arab traders and turned it into what it is today.

Pretty much any culture that had flour of any sort probably had pasts of some description. I think it was probably invented by the military as dried pasta is light and easy to carry

They did not start it or invent it , but greatly enhanced it , it needs to change its balance still to reflect the times.

  No, your Flying Spaghetti Monster did not hand humanity all the answers. Your "God" was invented by humans to serve human desire for power and control over other humans. Religion is a simple minded, primitive response to fear of the unknown. And it's an intellectual trap. Once you proclaim bullshit as the literal word of a god, you can never back down from that without admitting your god is total bullshit. And your religion has been proven wrong by science every time. Why do religiots have such a hard time giving credit to our ancestors for their hard work and innovations.
