At the beginning of the month, I decided to try out VSCO. Many of my friend have had theirs for years, but I didn't really get into it because at the time, I didn't have as much to share with other people. I still struggle with keeping a good theme up and creating my own aesthetic. However, I think the more important thing is self expression/ a good lifestyle. I've put lots of effort into creating a vision that lets me wake up feeling energized each and every day. I try to think about what my photography conveys about my lifestyle and my experiences. (This is part of my VSCO )
Self Expression and Realizations:
Many people think that they know sh*t about me because I tell them personal stuff about myself, but they really don't know anything as much as they like to believe they do. Everyone deserves someone who is willing to listen to them, and support them. If I am paying attention to your life, I just expect to receive the same amount of respect; someone who can listen to me talk without getting bored with me. That's all I'm really asking for. I'm not even asking for a super good looking guy with 10 lambos outside his mansion so I don't even know why it's so hard. Though my VSCO still isn't even going to convey my life story, it highlights some of my best moments, and memories so I don't care if people think I'm boring as fuck because chances are they've just hit the tip of the iceberg.
Main Message:
To everyone who feels like they need to prove themselves to other people: Just know that no one really has the right to say your boring, or lame, and not interesting unless they know every single detail about your life. And almost 102% of the time, they don't! So Don't get hung up on the things that they say. If you express yourself different but do it in such a way that gives you a positive outlook on life, and helps you create your own happiness and success, why bother with people who can't see that. Just carry on with your own creative process.
Tips:
Don't actively try to impress a girl or guy that you like because if they already want you to be a certain way, then your going to have to lose yourself trying to fit into their cookie cutter mold. I'd rather find a guy that can see me for what I really am and understand why I act the way that I do. Not someone who will get bored with me and question everything that I do. And I can almost guarantee everyone that they will find someone better, okay?. I think it's actually such a stupid thing to think that you will never find someone better. There's probably 10 people + who looks exactly like you, let alone people with similar interests.
All that matters? I have a fricken interesting life, I'm proud of it. I don't feel the need to prove it anymore after this MyTake because the people who deserve to know that details, know many of the details.I think that those who read this MyTake should approach their life in this mindset.
I have people I can sit in the same room with for half an hour without talking and just laughing about it. They are people who think I am really funny, crazy, weird, cute, amazing, talented, caring, kindhearted regardless of the times when I'm upset and I say something out of character. Find someone for yourself that makes you love yourself when you are with them; not doubt everything that makes you, you.
