I hear all the time that men want loyal woman. But women stay in situations and relationships even longer than what they supposed to. Especially black women.

I have known some women to stay after cheating, after a man had another child with somebody else, after going to jail, after losing your job after many months of unemployment. Women’s day with potential that’s never potentially going anywhere. Some women have stayed so long that they don’t even know how to get out sometimes. While in the end they’re hurting themselves and not building on what they should have. Then when the man finally gets their shit together they don’t want to be with that woman that’s been holding them down the entire time. Not all but some.

why do we do this to ourselves?

So stop asking us to hold you down and be loyal and you need a ride or die if you’re not willing to be the same way.
