Characteristics of a Lady

Just some of my thoughts on what makes a woman a lady from a male perspective.

She is loyal. She knows that if she's in a serious relationship she must be faithful. There's no room for "playing the field". She never flirts when she's in a relationship but she's also not afraid of talking to men on a platonic level. She knows that her actions can bring harm to the relationship and her reputation as a loyal and honest person so she is careful not to do anything in public that would bring shame/harm to herself or her man. She is also loyal to anyone who has been good to her. She would never betray them or intentionally bring harm to them. She believes in teamwork and is a team player.

She's responsible. She thinks before she does things. She doesn't want to be the type of woman who creates problems and then has to find someone to blame for her mistakes.

She values herself. She won't endorse/promote people she knows are doing things that devalue themselves or unfairly harm others. She won't give herself to anyone who isn't going to treat her with respect and be loyal to her. She places an importance on taking care of her health (skin, body, mind).

She takes pride in her appearance. She usually dresses to a higher standard than the average woman but she is also able to go casual.

She is a leader of women. This means she's not afraid of dressing or acting differently than the majority.

She embraces traditional femininity. She believes that men finding her attractive is natural. She has no interest in making herself look unattractive to men but she's also not going to beg or be desperate for male attention. She won't be an attention whore. She knows it's the quality of attention that matters more than the quantity.

She is modest. She would never knowingly allow herself to be seen in public doing seductive dancing like a stripper or posing with legs spread like a porn star. She's not interested in showing her naked body to any stranger. She doesn't use her nakedness/revealing clothes to get attention so she won't be the least dressed woman in any setting. She's no more interested in showing seductive pictures to the masses than one would be in tossing prized possessions into the sewer.

She has class. She will not do things that would bring shame or dishonor to her family, school or country even if many other people do those things. She exercises control of her mouth and emotions to an above average degree. She is not rude.

She does not create drama. She's will never create a scene in public or try to create conflict for entertainment. She thinks about how her actions will impact others and tries to avoid causing harm.

She is not aggressive with men. She doesn't see men as competition, only other women. She knows that if she acts like a man it gives the man the right to treat her like a man and she's not interested in that. She's not interested in ruling over men in her personal life. Generally she sees men as potential partners (in the platonic or romantic sense) but never as competition. In rare cases a lady is a leader of men (business/military for example) but she will still 100% feminine in her private life.

She's good at doing something that has some practical real life value. Think gardening instead of posting pictures on social media for example. Even if she's a "modern woman" she wants to be good at many things traditional women were good at like cooking. It's part of her culture or she wants it to be. It doesn't matter if her man is great at it also.

She rejects radical feminism that seeks to turn men into women or make men unable to have any private spaces where men can talk to men. She rejects the idea that men should automatically be considered wrong in every dispute with a woman.

She values and recognizes the contributions that the constructive type of man has made in building technology and society and knows that if men are devalued too much we will go back to living in the forests and caves. She knows that this kind of man respects her also and values any contributions that herself and other women have made towards good things happening in the world.
