I understand a lot of goals for modern women to help them be respected more in society or be understood more and such or have more oppurtinities, but the above statement I will explain. I think there is social issues that affect women, and men as well. This is not an attack on women at all. Modern Day feminists end up trying to have women in authority persons without working as hard as men had to be able to do that, to be "independant" and "Career oriented" at the expense of children, tell women they dont need men, but tell men they need women, bullshit like that, thats part 1. They also want them to have the privileges of traditional times. Not all, but a lot, too many. They want the guy paying for the first date, they take aspects of chivalry that they like but may turn away other ones. And if men dont automatically know what that specific girl wants, nah forget that, they'll speak for all women like there the Borg and shame women who disagree. They also want new special privileges. Such as "never hit a woman" even if you have to defend your life or a childs life or even another womans life. In the old days, it was never hit a lady. And in the old days, there was abuse against women that went unreported or was seen as "discipline" and this was wrong and I am not condoning it at all. But the "never" part is a concern and it became a rule in the 70s. And the next part, they want women to have the accountability of children. Even worse, probably above children level. Anytime you criticize a woman, you're called sexist. Women can be mean evil and always can blame it on men. Look there's a lot of arrogant and mean and manipulative guys out there, I get it, but you can't keep excusing yourself on other peoples wrongdoing. Apparently women can do no wrong in there eyes, or never be wrong. How can you be equal to men if you can never do anything wrong and blame every bad decision you make on sexism?

There is what modern feminism says the movement is about, and the reality of what modern feminism actually is now, and the two are very different things.

I think most women who support feminism today do so because they believe it is a movement that fights for women's equality. But that is not what the movement is about anymore. It's doing more harm than good. It's obviously bad for males, and the net effect on women today is actually negative.

I get where you're coming from. I think it's important to remember that not all feminists have the same perspective. It's true that some have views or expectations that is unfair or contradictory, but others are simply striving for respect.

You raise a valid point about accountability, and I agree that everyone, regardless of sex, should be held accountable for their actions. It's not fair to generalise or blame an entire sex for the actions of a few individuals.

I believe that everyone should be treated with kindness and respect, not with special treatment. The goal should be equality rather than tipping the scales in favour of one sex over the other.
