My lesbian friend likes me?

I have a friend who's lesbian and she flirts with me non-stop since I turned 16 (she's 17)
I've known her for 4 years now. Sometimes we don't get along but we still hang out because she's fun to be around.
For the last couple of weeks, she really pushed her feelings of how attracted she is to me and last night she asked if i'm willing to turn lesbian "too" and I told her im as straight as a ruler, but she's still flirting with me!!

I swear I really don't know what to do or act.
When a person is attracted to me and push their feelings onto me and I don't feel the same for them, I get very distant and stop communicating with them (i'm really just not interested in staying friends from that point). I don't want to become distant with her though (even though my heart wants to) because she'll be a loner at school and I'd feel like shit.

Anybody else experience this before?
How the hell do I make myself feel comfortable around her again?
I don't even want to hug her when I see her because I normally don't hug people who push their feelings onto me when I don't feel the same for them.

Honestly whether your friend is a straight male or gay female, badgering you about something like that borders on sexual harassment. Obviously you won't be pressing charges against your friend, but the point is doing that to anyone is wrong regardless of gender. Your only hope of saving the friendship is to sit her down, and tell her that by continuing to constantly flirt etc. after you've already told her you're not interested, she is making you very uncomfortable. If she refuses to stop for you, then she probably just doesn't care as much about you or your feelings as you may have thought, and you should unfortunately move on to another friend.

This is why men and women have such a hard time remaining just friends. Sooner or later one of them starts to develop feelings for the other one.

I have known lesbians that have told me they can get any straight woman they want in bed at least once, by using their insecurities against them. I imagine your friend must have a similar point of view if she keeps pushing her feelings onto you. My advice would be to terminate your friendship with her. Otherwise she isn't going to stop making you feel uncomfortable. I would give you the same advice if it were a guy doing this.

my friend did tell me that she gained 20lbs and asked if i will still be friends with her..

You're right, i'll terminate my friendship with her if i feel she's going too far.
I do view her as a guy now.

Some examples? They claim that the straight woman really is gay or bisexual, but afraid to admit it, and the only way the straight girl can know for sure is to try a woman. Or they make the girl feel bad for rejecting them, to the point she feels she needs to sleep with her friend to make up for hurting her friend. I don't really get how that could convince a straight girl to try a woman, but according to some of the lesbians I have met they have found ways to make it work.
