Is boldness in a woman considered attractive? or unattractive?

Just out of curiosity, what do guys think about boldness or forwardness being a characteristic in a woman (romantically; e. g in proposing a first date, in light flirting, etc.)? Does the "unorthodoxy" of it come off as being unattractive?

There are plenty of good guys out there that are shy or somewhat passive. If girls can be a bit more forward then they can potentially untap a pretty big group of dudes that they probably wouldn't interact with otherwise.

I've always enjoyed when women would approach me.

Depends on the guy but i find it very attractive. The kind of girl who knows how to stand up for herself and deal with things. Very attractive to me.
