Yea its probably most guys who would get upset or offended .. we might feel insecure or obviously like we are not good enough for you.. and that is not a good feeling.. If your obsessed that's fine, but there are fine lines that shouldnt be crossed.. like comparing our looks to that of a celeb. and comparing anything that is your boyfriends' to that of anyone else gives us mixed feelings.. The fact is.. what you want and are obsessed with is that celeb. and we see him too.. we are not blind.. he's right there and we see everything he is.. and we know we are not him. so what choice do we have? not much.. We are who we are and we can't change that.. if we try to, then we become fake.. so yea its a complete turn-off.
This is one of those scenarios where women are totally insensitive and clueless.
Women get outraged when a guy looks at Playboy. Doesn't he understand how hurtful that is to me when he looks at other women?
And women believe it's okay to remind everyone in the room about how they lust over Justin Bieber, Hugh Jackman, or someone else, and deny that their behavior might be hurtful, and tell their boyfriend to "stop taking it so personally!"
It's a huge double-standard, because in both cases people continue do things that they *know* hurt their partner.
There's a time and a place to swoon over celebrities, talk about his tours, and in general be all "OMG JUSTIN OMG". That time and place is with girl friends, or with gay male friends.
Now, unless your boyfriend shares the same interest of Justin Bieber as you do, you shouldn't be obsessing over him Honestly. it makes you seem like you're a twelve year old. It's fine to like his music, it's fine to think he's cute. But for the most part, boyfriends don't want to hear about it.
Well, if you think of it in a guy's position, it isn't really fair that we can obsess over a celebrity and not get in trouble and they get bitched at when they look at porn. If you're going to go crazy over a celeb, just make sure you're not just gushing to him. Sometimes, we have to give them a little respect (:

Extremely but that is me. As long as she keeps it to herself its fine though.
I had a girlfriend who would once in a while be all obsessed about some celeb guy and a few times it got to the point where I felt like saying "I feel like I am sharing my girlfriend with another man, cut back on this crap or I'm gone".
Its fine to like a celeb, but like allot of things use discretion, keep it to yourself, if you keep bringing into your actual RL relationships it only serves as a point of contention for all future arguments (and trust me, guys can stew on things and use them later just as well as any girl).
Define obsession...
It's a turn off having my girlfriend obsess over a celebrity. It's okay to like the guy/girl but I don't approve of the idolization of such people. Idolize someone who has achieved something great and done something good like Opera perhaps but even then don’t obsess over them. All those people who you see losing control of themselves in front of certain celebrities annoys me and I would be embarrassed to be with someone like that.

Oh god yes. It's a major turn off to have your girlfriend drooling over a celebrity.
Every guy actually... it hurts when a girlfriend does that make us feel like nothing like we should be better.. like she's settling for us instead of the celebrity... it's hurtful because we don't feel good enough. My girlfriend never compliments me on anything if I get a haircut or new shoes or if I start gaining muscles she turns a blind eye.
It would annoy me. I wouldn't really be jealous about it like some of the other guys said, but I just think it's pathetic as sh*t when people obsess over celebrities.
