why do women grow mustaches and become more manly and aggressive as they age? hormones. testosterone rises up estrogens fall down with age. so why not show that hormonal change with style choices as well... ?
I agree. I don't ever plan on cutting my hair short. lol I think old people are more delicate and frail and maybe styling their hair is too much for them. Like if they have arthritis or something.

I think some of it may be that their hair won't grow very long in old age and gets very thin and wispy
Yes this is what I implied.
im sure by a certain age, what looks more flattering is less of a priority than what is more comfortable.

Its cause your hairs become weaker as you age for a lot of people.
I'm not really sure but i'm keeping my locks of love.
I always said I wanted to have long gray hair when I'm old.
short hair is easier to maintain and it covers their bald spots by making their hair poofy so you can't see it.
Cus they dont have the energy or patient to take care of a long hair anymore...
Their hair falls out. Their hair doesn't get that long. Look it up
Many do it including my mother. When asked she says it's easier to manage.
Agreed! It's like "ok, I'm settled in my life, and no longer want to be sexy". Short of putting on latex, short hair doesn't do it for me.
The one place I REALLY noticed this was in Asia. Other places, not quite as much.
I dunno. My mom has had short hair before I like long hair better
I always wondered that too.
Claire from House of Cards rocks it bruh
I don't know ):
I think it's just easier to maintain.~~
