What does it mean when a girl holds eye contact for a few seconds?

Cute girl in one of my classes has been continuously glancing at me for some reason. What she recently started doing is holding her stare for a few seconds before looking away. For some background, I've never spoken to this girl, she's been in my class all term and sits on the other side of the class. wtf is going on?

It sounds like she is checking you out. Next time she does it wink at her and observer her reaction. After class go talk to her and see if one thing leads to another. PS that means she is open to a date and likes you.

Exactly. So you don't believe it is nothing, but you believe it is something, but for some reason it can't be the only obvious reason. There is no mystery here lad. She either likes you on some level / finds you intriguing for some reason or it means nothing.

I still vote the latter. Her intrigue may have nothing to do with you and more to do with something like a rumor.
