Why do the most girls/women have bubble handwriting?

I always wondered why girls/women have bubbled handwriting. I was always a kind of sloppy handwriter and seen a lot of girls write in bubbled form during school and even all my friends growing up had this type of handwriting. I always wondered why? Example writings like this..

( I found these on Google Images).. So girls do you have this type of handwriting? And why is it? Were you learned to write this way or was it natural for you?

I think it's just a feminine style. You can convey personality in your hand writing.

I swear I remember a time when every girl in my class started writing like this. It must have been a trend that someone taught to everyone or something.

In my case, I have a few traits of "bubble" writing where you need curved letters (C, S, O etc), but it's a lot straighter/sharper on the "pointy" letters. (Like T, L, Y, F V and so on.) I also don't link letters together.

My handwriting is kind of rubbish though.

Lol I heard that too! And how guys have crappy writing. I've seen a few exceptions but from what I've seen guys are in a rush and don't care if it looks nice/neat they just wanna write down the stuff ASAP so they don't miss anything.
Me personally as a girl, I want it to look nice, if i mess up where the words are too close or far apart I correct it. I'm not sure why i care since half the time no one's reading my writing

The second one is how I write. It's called print writing. I was taught cursive when I was younger but slowly moved into my writing now. I personally think it's very neat, and it suits my personality a lot.

I notice that in a lot of girls but mine is Italic... I used to get a lot of compliments but now after going to college I just write in the sloppiest way possible.

Testosterone and prenatal testosterone exposure actually contributes to maculinized handwriting. I have no idea how. Might be a left brain vs right brain dominant thing. Men and women tend to use different sides of their brain.

For me I think it was like-- I was in like the third grade and I saw an older girl with bubble handwriting, thought it was the coolest thing, started practicing and never went back.

I noticed this in some of my friends too, they were insecure about their handwriting once they saw the handwriting of a girl in our class. Now they all write like her. It’s pretty strange really.
