Why are females not allowed to expose their chest region?

OK. This would quite spark a debate. But I. Would like to know genuine reasons from both sides as to whether women should be allowed to expose their chest areas legally or not

And why have they been a taboo to the outside world till date.

Ans also if it were legal. Would you or would you not go free.

The sexualization of the breast is why. Speaking from a purely biological standpoint, they are secondary sexual characteristics, just like facial hair and Adams apples in men, the widening of hips in women, and pubic/underarm hair in both. Their presence indicates a level of maturity has been physically reached.
However, they are not directly involved in sex, making the analogies to "a man whipping his dick out" incorrect. In fact, the breast wasn't sexualized until very recently; there are woodcut plates of women breastfeeding in church, and nobody cared. The breast just wasn't sexual.
I do support free the nipple, but more due to the ridiculous nature of the laws surrounding it; I find it silly how you can have a whole breast out, and cover the nipple, and it's okay, but as soon as you show a tiny bit of areola, you're crossing a line. Just let the sexes be equal in nipple rights, man, I don't want to have to put on a shirt in 110 degrees to get my damn package from the apartment office.

it is the same for women who don't want kids. It's bad, wrong, and inappropriate. I as a feminist, am child free and have a larger chest so you BEST BELIEVE I get a mouthful lol.

The poin is that, if a girl with small boobs wears a bralette, it's aesthetic, cute, and classy. But if a woman wears one and has DD's, she is a prostitute, porn star, or an attention seeker.

However, it seems guys can sag their pants to the point we can see their pointy ass through those fruit of the loom boxers. Women have always been objectified, especially curvy, thick, or even slim girls with curvy body parts. Society loves to put a "FAILURE" stamp on any woman (or man) who refuses to follow these conservative norms.

There are some countries in which women are allowed to walk topless but most women prefer not to because they don't want to get lewd comments/attention. Breast are considered as sexual part of the body.

I've seen how some people blame the rape victim. They say, she used to wear revealing clothes, she walked around semi naked, she asked for it. I think it's BS, of course.

To be honest, if it was allowed in my country. I still wouldn't go out topless, it will make me very uncomfortable. I don't want to show my private parts to the whole world.

My thing has always been, it's a sexual thing above all else and I honestly would not care if women did expose their chest in the sense I wouldn't think it's "wrong" or shouldn't be done. My only thing is that it MUST be socially acceptable to stare. If it's not okay to look, then it's not okay to expose yourself in public. End of story.

But if it's okay to look and there's not going to be a social movement to get men to stop being "creepy" and stop staring at womens bare chest, then I don't give a fuck. Share the titties!

Because as of right now while no they're not allowed to walk around tits out, it's also not socially acceptable to gaze at their covered or partially covered breasts and there's social pressure on men not to do so unless the woman approves.

It's not legal because female breasts are sexualized by media and other people. Hence the reason women can't even breast feed their babies in public without it causing some big issue.

For a long time, western men didn't show theirs either. I imagine breasts got highly sexualized during this time when an ankle was considered scandalous. So as layers started to come back off, breasts were off limits due to being made to be thought very pornographic by "society" during the many clothed times.
