This is why I don’t go to public pools... it’s ok for kids but grown adults should know better. If they pee In the pool someone else may have a cut and get the bacteria from the urine in the cut and can cause complications. Not to mention the kids who swallow the water.
For those who think it’s ok because it’s just one person—it’s not. We wish people wouldn’t pee in the pool but many think “it’s just one person the chemicals will take care of it” but when a lot of people think that way, the chemicals do not take care of it.
When we had a pool in our backyard we had a sign “we don’t swim in your toilet so don’t pee in our pool.” And that’s the motto people should live by.
I work in a pool so I’m in one for a good 3 hours which doesn’t seem that long but anyone that works with me knows, for some reason the pool make you have to pee. By the time it’s our break we’re all running trying to beat each other to the bathroom. Sometimes I haven time to run the the bathroom real quick but other times i can’t so yes I will shamefully admit that I sometimes pee a little in the pool but I don’t think it’s normal
I’ve only done it once when I was really little, other than that I never do it (to keep the pool clean and I’ve always been scared the water will turn blue)

I used to... when I was a damn toddler. It's digusting and inconsiderate as hell to do something like that now as a grown adult.
I agree with your girlfriend. Me and my bff both pee in the pools in our backyards. My sister does too, and my mom. Our families used to tell us to as kids and so now whenever we need to go we just pee in the pool. But we usually try to do it away from other people so they don't know. And the water has chlorine in it which kills any bacteria so it's not actually that gross lol.
I have to admit I have done it but I don't do it all the time. I'm always worried that someone around me can see the yellow pee streaming out of me in the water.

hhHaha this is the biggest joke, i’m a lifeguard, swim instructor, on a swimteam, and a waterpolo player and i pee in the pool all over the time and most others do also. we just say we don’t
I rarely do, and it's usually when there are to many people in the bathroom for me to even fit, which doesn't happen much in my town.
