Are Californian accents annoying?

I lived in CA for almost 5 years, and before that in Florida (near Alabama). Now I live in the central US. My accent is mostly Cali with some touches of southern here and there, so a typical sentence might sound like:
“Y’all I had the most INSANE experience yesterday I was just tryna mind my own business and some, like, DUDE comes up to me, like, ‘hey’ and. . .”
My voice isn’t super high but I do talk kinda fast and the only time the accent gets extreme is when I really get into a story, but do you find that way of speaking irritating or just normal? I might try to stop saying “like” so much lol

Being British, I find most American accents grating with some more so than others. I also find some British regional accents and dialects annoying too.

That's my problem by the way because there is really nothing wrong with any accent - I try not to demonstrate my unreasonable intolerance of accents to others.

The call accent is the closest you can come to TV Americana (what they used to teach broadcasters) but we do have some quirks

No. When I worked for AT&T a lot of my callers were Californians so I've heard accents of different varieties.

they arrrre! i lived in the most republican area of ca though so everyone was pretty moderate and the number of special snowflakes was relatively low
