There's this girl that I've known for some time and we've recently gotten very close. Whenever she'd see me she would always drop everything and give me a long hug and would always want to have me around (and always finds ways to hang out with me more). Meanwhile other mutual friends whom she has known for as long as she has known me only get fist bumps and small talk.
The other day, her best friend came to visit and she was really excited to introduce me then even continued on telling him every impressive thing about me.
I have no problems whatsoever with our strong bond. It's just that our bond has quickly grown so much within a short span of time that it seems strange. Heck, a lot have even asked us if we're dating or something because that's like the most logical thing they can come up with.
I honestly like her (not the obsessive kind, just admiration). I think she's cool and all and I do too love having her around. I'm just want to respect boundaries especially since she's gone through a lot and I don't wanna hurt her trust by complicating things.
