Girls, Which Way Do You Typically Sit?

Definitely D or C. I think I'm the only girl I know who "man-spreads." You've seen the YouTube vids of goats, pigs, even cows that grow up around cats or dogs and then act just like them? Well, that's me growing up with all boys in the house. I sit like them, I play basketball and hockey just like my brothers, I watch college and professional sports and then call up my guy friends and argue over team stats and post-game plays... And a lot of guy friends call me up for relationship advice b/c I give 'em advice that keeps the guy's perspective.
Come on, girls. How is B more comfortable than D?
So far, you're the only one to answer C, but I'm not sure why this is. As a guy, C is probably the most comfortable for most of us. I don't see anything wrong with any of them, but I also don't understand why someone would choose one over the other.
In a skirt C could be too revealing. In board shorts, C is fine. I chose it and I sit like that, or tuck one foot under a knee and dangle the other down too. You should've included that one. Used that since grade school...
A few years ago when the hate-men brigade started criticizing guys for sitting C-style, I thought it made sense they would... I've never had any trouble sitting next to a guy who sat that way. They usually put their book-bag on the ground or hold it in their lap so I can sit. Comfort's where it's at, no?
Well currently none of the above: I'm cold so I'm sitting cross-legged in my chair trying to warm up!
But usually B or C. B in a professional setting like work. C or other (cross-legged) to be comfortable.
Lol C is my comfortable position, that's already said to be the most masculine position for a girl to sit in 😂. But mostly I sit in A and a little bit of D. But when no one is looking at me I will always sit in C 😅. But when I'm in public areas it will be A or D. It all depends on what environment I'm in. I'll sit more comfortably at home but in public I'll sit more professionally and more sensibly. Though when I'm alone I tend to sit in C. The reason being because it's comfortable. I'm also aware that loads of guys particularly sit in this way too 😂. But all in all as I said it depends on which environment I'm in. That way I sit accordingly.
I do all of the above and some other ways too. B, D, E I do in formal settings, A when I'm bored but have to stay seated, C when I'm relaxed, both legs folded under when I'm on the couch, when on the bed reading a book 1 leg on the wall while the other is stretched out etc. Depends on setting and comfort level.
B or D
Or sometimes with my feet drawn back under the chair like the guy in the picture (stock photo)

I think it reflects my introversive personality and that I am not very bold in general... I can be if there's the need to be, but in general I am the quiet type.
"Typically"

:)
C. I don't think it reflects anything, except comfort.
Good answer. I'd then ask does how one sits reflect how comfortable she is with herself/others?
I don't know about others but i generally feel pretty comfortable
All of those except for C. I donβt think it really says much about my personality.
Oh? Why the others but not C? What is your personality like?
99% of time it's either D or with my ankles crossed which unfortunately it not an option
I doubt it has any real connection to your personality so I can't say.
One thing I know for sure is that I've always found crossing my ankles most comfortable. Apparently when my mum was pregnant with me and went to the scan to find out my gender they couldn't find out because my ankles were crossed preventing them from finding out lol
Oh? What makes D more common and/or comfortable?
I don't know how far along your mom was, but having one's legs crossed has ruined many ultrasounds such that we can't make out a "turtle sign" (male) from a "hamburger sign" (female).
I'm sorry I have absolutely no idea what makes it more comfortable. Thats just the way I sit and it works for me lol
ππ she thought she was a gutt instinct that I was a male and literally told everyone she can feel it's a boy. Got the name prepared and everything only to find out I was a girl.
Fair enough.
Aww, how do you feel about being assumed to be a boy? How has it played into aspects of your life (if it has)?
I'm glad that she loved you no matter your gender. Support makes such a difference in one's life.
I don't wear skirts. I usually sit a foot on top a knee, with the other leg down, or C. Sometimes I cross my legs. When you don't wear a skirt, C does not look vulgar.
Sadly I'm a C, my mom always nags me about closing my legs. 🙄
All, but most often A. Used to C when I was younger, but my legs won't do that anymore, knees sort of just fall into each other
B or D
Depending on how comfortable and the hight of the chair.
B is my focus position for listening
usually D or E for me - if I am hanging out with friends by the pool and we are sitting on the edge it would be either A, C or D - So I guess it depends on where and what I am doing at the time!
Iβve been know to sit in all those ways depending on the seat, my environment and what Iβm doing but Iβd say mostly itβs B or E.
B. C when I'm leaning down and I want to be more comfortable or am focusing on something. D sometimes.
Polite version: D
The real me version: Legs on couch. Or table. Extremely impolite.
B mostly; E sometimes.
(This is an odd question.)
All of the above. But generally C. I have to consciously make myself sit like a lady at work.
I like sitting pretzel style like a kindergartner 😆
D and I don't think it does reflect my personality, I just do it 'cause I find it comfiest!
B D or E, i was raised with manners and that's the only explanation lol
B and D when I'm in the outside but definitely C when I'm at home lol
B. Locks my legs when Iβm too lazy to use my inner thigh muscles to hold them together, and raises my
blood pressure so Iβm not yawning.
a and e, but with e ill cross my legs at my ankles.. same with d
C. It's comfortable. I don't really act that feminine.
out of the choices D. but I'm sitting like B because I'm cold
My choice of sitting isn't up three.. Usually I sit on one leg n the other hangs over or I sit Indian style n yes even at the dinner table..
C & D
If I sit like c then I usually have cup in between 🤷🏽ββοΈ
B, mostly because I keep moving my feet, but I sit in other ways too
I'm bi, so I sit like a natural disaster.
No clue what you mean by that, but it was quite funny.
Trust me, I tried to find better words. I could not. XD
I'm very happy to have made you laugh, though. Thank you. >w<
C or D. I've been called unlady-like for it lol
