Opening doors - do you do it for every girl?

Question

Or do you open doors only for the girls you find are special to you, or ad least the ones you find attractive, or friendly, so you like them?

Or do you open doors for every girl, no matter if you know her, don't know her, like her, don't like her, think she's attractive, don't think she's attractive?

actually this depends on the guy a whole lot and the type of guy he is.

if "A" you have the true gentleman who treats everyone equal that means he'll hold or open doors for guys as well which is again shows character and upbring. this is the guy that is truly nice and has no game plan to do something just to catch the eye of a girl.

if "B" this type guy is being somewhat selective as to who he'll open or hold doors for and just wants the girl to notice him in a selfish way of sorts. but still may be a good guy at heart.

if "C" and "D" these to types of guys are being really selfish and showing off of sorts to the girl, more or less look at me what I've done just for you. and in away isn't that atitude just what he's doing.

and if "E" this type guy is self explanitory has no common courtesy towards anyone and would that be the type guy you'd want to spend time with.

however every guy is different and holds different views on these kind of things the above is trictly just my opinion.

I think I would be the 1st guy here that never opened a door for a girl and will never do it, I really don't see what's the use of it, and why a girl can't open the door for herself, it's something funny, a man opens the door for a women, who is she? QUEEN ELIZABETH, well if she's the real queen I won't open the door for her, let her open the door, I'm not a maid or her personal driver or bodyguard, maybe in the past women's deserved men to open the doors for her but these day I think they must get slammed with doors to brake their mouth and stop saying the word FEMINIST! any feminist better not meet me!

But I would open the door to anyone who needs help and cannot open it...i never have a problem helping someone who can't, a girl, a man, a kid...as long as they can't than I'm here to help...but acting as a gentleman ain't never one of my traits!

Personally, I love in when a guy hold the door open for me. I also hold the door for people walking in behind me, or at least hold it so they could catch it before it closes. I hate to hear about all the feminist women who are rude to guys that hold the door for them. How can you be mean to someone being nice to you? They're ruining it for all the women that appreciate gentleman and manners.

I don't ALWAYS open doors for people- it depends on the situation and the configuration in which people are moving lol- but I like to and I don't expect guys to open doors for me just because I'm a girl. In fact that can be awkward. I do like it when my boyfriend opens doors for me (and I open doors for him as well).

im a girl, but I open doors for my friends, or strangers, or people whos hands are full, or kids who can't reach etc. I don't do it to be nice I really don't think about it I think its a natural thing to do.

Any guy that holds the door open for women is a wimp. I stopped opening doors for women when I realized that in order to be and stay with a woman you have to be a jerk. Chivalry is dead and you women killed it.

If I'm walking through myself, I'll stop and hold it open for anyone.

If I arrive at a door same time / right before a friend I'll usually open it and let them go first.

If it's a girl I like or whom I am interested in, I'll run up and open it for her before the gets the chance to do it herself.

I keep the doors opened for women and men behind me. It's called courtesy. Women are so self-absorbed they rarely even look if there is somebody else behind them. They p*ss me off, especially because they think they are courteous while most of them are complete bitches and don't even know it, they're pathetic.

I do it for everyone, especially if their hands are full. But I do it for girls I'm out with because I want to show them I'm considerate and that I want them to feel like they're with a guy who cares about them. Typically if there's room for two people on the side of the car where her door is I'll open the car door and hold it for her too, but if it's a tight squeeze it just looks awkward and like I'm trying too hard, lol.

Do I go out of my way to open doors for girls? No, unless I'm trying to impress her.

Do I hold doors for girls if they're going through right after me? Yes, I do that for people in general

Do I open doors for girls who girls who have their hands full? Yes, I do that for people in general

I believe that chivalry is nearly dead, and should stay that way. But holding the door for someone as you go through is common courtesy, and I do practice that.

If I'm near a door (shops/petrol station/club/blah blah blah) and it's not going to seem weird if I open it for someone else (regardless of age/sex/orientation/race/blah blah blah..) -- I open it.

As for a car door, depends on who's in the car... if it was a girlfriend and there was room for two, I'd open it.. as for the mum and sister... nah, they can do it themselves, it would be weird if I opened it for them...

Sooo... there are times when it doesn't really actually hold meaning. In fact there are times when I don't even look at her enough to judge how attractive she is, just open and she says "thanks" and I go on my way. You can't really know. xP
