Girls are love letters creepy, too old fashioned, or romantic?

My phone ended up breaking and i decided to send her letters instead. She cut contact. I was wondering if it was the letters or something else. How do you feel about guys sending them?

i think it's the most romantic thing in the world... especially in this day of everyone walking around staring at the ground, or rather, staring at the phones in their hands. i am not sure why she cut contact but i hope that a lot of woman leave comments saying that they find letters romantic because wouldn't that be great? if we brought back old school letter writing? then we'd have to get off these phones/tablets/computers and do what romantic people did. write letters and sigh, mail letters and sigh, receive letters and sigh... i guess Kevin Costner was right in the Postman or something?

Fuck yeah she's lucky I she's smart to keep you. It's the thought the old fashion way of love making with words and courtship I don't know why I love with so much. Any girl that's says it's dumb deep down wishes for this to happen to her from someone as considerate and romantic like you.

It's like romantic movies where the guy makes all of these big romantic gestures and tries really hard to impress the girl, and then eventually she realises what a great guy he is and falls for him.

When women see that in movies, they go "aww". When they imagine the guy they like doing that, they go "aww". As you see now when you ask this question, the young ones especially go "aww" and tell you to keep on sending letters.

When a guy actually does do that in real life, they get creeped out. Don't listen to these women. You've just seen the results for yourself.

welcome to reality. I mean maybe she actually was too in to you, but regardless, she didn't wanna take it where you wanted to take it. Maybe (probably certainly definitely) she's just another damaged person trying to skim the surface of all this romance shit without ever actually diving in and exposing herself.

Sounds like you've got yourself involved with the wrong kind of woman. If this is somebody that you are dating. If you're doing it to some random girl then yes it does become creepy. And if you're doing that to a female friend that doesn't even know what your intentions are, it comes off as if you are desperate.

Creepy and shocking for person receiving letter. Yes, old fashioned.
But I think it's romantic.
I would like to write again.

I think it would be hard to find a woman who actually appreciate that. The first thing she’ll probably think is you don’t have a phone. Hmmm he must be broke. Nobody writes anymore so it’s seen as creepy, which is sad, but to be honest you got to build a relationship before doing that.
