Men want young, beautiful women (we are visual creatures and we love with our eyes).

For me personally, it's men who have a lot of charisma; those who can light up a room with their smile, genuinely love their friends and family.
These are the type of men who are the real alphas to me, especially when they're aware of their amazing personality/people skills. My social and emotional intelligence tends to zero, so I appreciate men who have strong skills in this area.
It helps when they're handsome on top of this, but when guys are too handsome, I stay away from them thinking that they're fuckboys or arrogant. When someone has a great personality, that's cool - and when someone has charisma, I feel drawn to them very strongly.

Occupation and background that is regarded highly. For example, where I live University professors are highly respected but their wages are not very high.

Dude, no matter what women answer there is only one truthful answer and that is a rich man. Women ALWAYS give the "socially correct response" no matter how they really feel but if your examine their behavior wealth is their single most valued trait in a man.
