I thought that being curvy meant having a figure like Scarlett Johansson or Kim Kardashian, but I guess not.
Can you post pictures of what you think a curvy girl looks like?
i don't think it really matters. There's a guy out there for every body type. I have a pretty, obese friend who always has a cute boyfriend.
To answer your question, technically you can be curvy in terms of body shape/bone structure and be obese, and a lot of curvy girls are overweight. overweight and obese are not the same thing at all in my mind though. I'm into girls and I like quite a few girls who might be overweight, but I'm not sexually attracted to any girls who are obese. that doesn't mean I wouldn't date them, but it isn't likely and it wouldn't be for their bodies that's for damn sure. lol
you can be slim and curvy too, but its not commonly labelled that way and the curves tend to be less intense I guess.
i think curvy means different things. that's an umbrella term, but there are so many different ways of being curvy. like some guys may prefer scarlets subtle curves to kim's exaggerated wham bam curves. lol my brother is in love with esther baxter, and she's curvier than scarlet.
its cultural too. I'm half black and I notice clear differences on what the cap for curviness is on both sides. scarlet may be the curviest many white guys will go, whereas I know a lot more black guys who would go with a plus sized curvy chick and sometimes straight up fat chicks. that's just how it goes. beyond even the cultural boundaries, there are individual tastes. every guy is different and may interpret curvy differently. some guys love tiny chicks and to them any curvy girl is just a fat chick who needs to work out. lol
i consider myself thick curvy. like hourglass shape, and somewhere between chubby and "average". my fat is attracted away from my stomach though, to my boobs and my butt, thighs , hips and I gain weight in my lower body before my stomach. I don't care what curvy means to every single person though. I've had pixie sticks and their fans call me a beached whale before (not literally but they might as well have) and it didn't phase me. I'm healthy that's what matters.
*faze sorry lol
I don't think the way a girl wears outfits really counts as curvy ?.?
But this is just me...
If you are a big girl and still can see that shape you have that to me is beautiful in curves. ...gorgeous..
If you are fit and thin and you have rather nice cocoa cola curve to your body ++
I think that if you don't look like a muffin...
and you don't look like a freaking wooden board.
that you are amazing and beautiful.
Im a curvy girl.
And I do love other curvy girls like me.
that I'm not A LOT of extra love but inof.
I think this answers it...but not sure..
((yes I know it was directed at guys...but I still felt like answering.))
Scarlett Johansson is a perfect example. "Every girl you have ever talked to" needs to realize that having curves is really nice, and a hell of a lot more attractive than being an annoying little chopstick.
Or "Every girl you have ever talked to" could be under the sad, deluded impression that someone with a figure like Scarlett's is overweight. Sadly, it wouldn't surprise me if they DID think that.
Of all the VS models, it seems like Marissa Miller is the only one who really comes close to the proper healthy size...
Beyonce also has some nice curves:

You know, don't anyone take this the wrong way, but black women seem to in general have much healthier body image in terms of what a good body looks like...
Hint: It's not this: link
If I can see ribs YOU'RE TOO SKINNY.
I mean, unless it's unintentional and those are just your genes. I know a few girls like that: no matter how much they eat, they can never gain weight even if they really try...
Seriously, The VS models barely have enough meat on their bones to model that stuff!
As far as a nice body size? anywhere from a 6 or so to an 18 (or possibly more, I don't know women's sizes well enough) is quite nice.
I mean, look at this: link
If the middle girl lost much more weight, we'd be seeing bones! and some women are crazy enough to shoot for size 0?!?!?!
Curves = the natural, healthy juict meat that a grown woman is supposed to have, in the right places. Now, men and women define "curvy" very differently, but to me "curvy" = a babe built like this: link
Now, me, I am an ass man, so I tend to gravitate toward good looking woman, with gianormous asses, lol, like this: link
To me, it's not about size or weight, but more about shape. For instance, my wife is a sexy size 16, with a 44 inch ass (which I worship) - her curves are kicking. But she's also 5' 8" tall.
"You can do side bends or sit-ups, just please don't lose that butt" - LOL - seriously, though, like the one guy said, if we can see your ribs or bones, you're TOO THIN, babe.

I think that's EXACTLY what curvy is, just shapely with defined curves, not just straight up N down like a guy. Well maybe defined's not the right word, I saw a girl in BK yesterday with short short hair N so little curve or shape if I hadn't seen a bra strap through her tee shirt I never would have known it was a girl! I think she was gay N wanted to look that way, so good for her, but curvy to me is the opposite of that...
Well if a girl is too big, then tight clothing is awful, but if she is a little overweight then tight is and shows the curves of the body and other things, but if she is slim, the tight clothing such as lycra shows all all the curves and bumps of her body. I like wearing tight clothing for the same reason, as I am slim, my bulge shows really well.
But what exactly is "too big"? Even thin girls can look lumpy in tight clothing.
Too big is when layers of body fat can be seen, just right is when you can see she is healthy, but right is when you cann see the perfect shape of her hips, and all curves and bumps, such as mound bump.
Curvy can be used in different contexts, sometimes it is used as a polite way of describing an overweight girl but generally I would consider it to be a girl with a bit of shape to her body (bum, boobs & hips) rather than being stick thin
Being curvy is not the same as being fat/obese. People also believe having a thick body also means being fat/overweight and it does not.
I would not Scarlett Johansson curvy. Kim Kardashian qualifies as being curvy.
Totally agree. Scarlett Johansson ain't got nothing on J-Lo.
those are not curvy.
curvy is just the step before being fat.
So then how would you describe Scarlett J.? Because all I see are curves and that woman is not fat.
dat ass @___@
hahahahaha
More power to you, but come on, that babe's got what? A 65 inch ass? You'd have to strap on to mount that. LOL
Um I think I'm scarred from , everything now
Girls who look good in tight clothing are fine with me.
And this answers the question how...?
