I totally agree with her!
I almost always feel much better after I cry and maybe get a hug or two.

What do you think?

Its important for humans to cry in general. I wanna it's probably MORE important for males to cry because repressing the emotions behind the act eventually starts to have a negative impact on everybody around them and if they feel like it makes them weak, they're lying to themselves because they know what it feels like to confront difficulty and overcome it the proper way but can't realize it until they get why their "aversion" to emotions is just another emotional reaction. A male minded one.
No, girls aren't perfect but they at least have the ability and capacity to get there faster than us if they can figure out how to show their male that teamwork and equality is necessary if you want a human to be with forever because both parties can legit recognize if they have a positive influence on each other.
But I have a penis so what do I know about relationships outside of putting the thing in a hole? According to most people, nothing.
...
This species... gawd...
I believe a girl crying relieves a lot of inbuilt tensions.
I have been in relationships where on me asking "is something wrong?" To be told " NOTHING " but later got the full backlash.
That is the main reason for girls to cry as I believe the build up of tensions does no good.
Confession time: I have no problems crying also.
thank you for MHO Laurie x
You're welcome, thank you for a great opinion :)
No no crying no crying whatsoever
😭🥺
When I feel like crying I'll just put on a song
BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY BY THE FOUR SEASONS
Man this post made me in the mood to listen to that from My Greatest Oldies Hits playlist in Amazon.
Anyhow I couldn't resist 🤣🤣🤣
But the sing is perfect. the Girl in the song is fronting and bluffing. She didn't cry in front of the man but alone at home she does.
Guess I not a big girl yet because yes I cry and then feel better. 😂
I listened to it too - I love it!
Thank you for sharing :)
NP
thanks for the question
thanks for the mho hun!š
You're welcome, thank you for a great opinion :)
Therapists have actually said that this is as dangerous as suppressing anger and can actually negatively affect your body.
I cry and it does release my frustrations, and emotions I may be feeling at that present moment. I end up being more gentler and compassionate towards myself. And more happier with people around me. Its a big boost to my everyday daily living.
YES! :)
thanks for the MHO
You're welcome :)

I am a guy and yea I do feel a bit better... but usually I keep trying to hold myself until I feel so sad that I cry myself to sleep. Sleeping makes me feel good too. Crying helps release toxins from your body so yea it does help to cry even scientifically.
I am sorry that you sometimes would have to cry yourself to sleep though, that is very sad. I hope whatever caused that is in the past now.
Nice, I am so glad you are feeling better about yourself now.
You are an important person regardless of what any girl may think about you, or not.
Build your self worth by helping others... I'm not kidding.
I rarely ever cry, but sometimes, yes. However, I only do it for a few minutes (and I usually just well up rather than actually crying) and then am done with it. I hate crying (it gives me a horrible headache) and just want it done and over with as soon as possible.
The weirdest thing is that I was very emotionally numb and couldn't hardly cry at all as a teenager on SSRIs, but in the first couple of years after getting off of them, I was extremely emotional and cried very easily (not like bursting into tears, but just experiencing such a huge rush of emotion that it brought tears to my eyes). Now, I am somewhere in between, which is how I was before SSRIs.
I do think it's important for anyone to be able to release those emotions and not bottle them up, however. There's definitely nothing wrong with it.
I think it's important for a woman to cry... I think it's important for anyone to cry... It's not gender specific... I'm sure there's someone of chimical connection between crying and your emotional state... But I also think it has a lot to do with just being an emotional release. If there was a thing you could do that also worked as a release then that would also be important or a valid replacement... It dosent HAVE to be crying... But... I also think there's more to crying then just an emotional out let... I think there's more to crying that I'm not knowledgeable enough atm to explain.
Long story short... Crying can be very beneficial for many reasons for both men and wemon
Not for me.
Unless it's getting something in your eye, crying is basically stress relief. And if you are stressed, sometimes you need a quick way to relieve it.
But, for me, it's not like throwing up where you feel better after.
It's not even like throwing up where it only feels better while you are throwing up.
It's like the awful feeling before you throw up.
Often I will divert to some form of expression such as music, writing, drawing, etc... That usually helps me actually get the stress / emotion out of me. That's my emotional vomiting.
Crying is just nausea for me.
Constructive emotional rehearse is essential for all humans but it doesnāt have to be crying and crying isnāt gender specific. Everyone has tear glands.
I prefer physical exertion when Iām frustrated. Crying Makes me feel weird and useless. But itās also virtually impossible for me to cry. If Iāve already punched a punching bag and gone running and I am really upset and can manage to shed a tear it may feel like a release. But on its own, without doing anything, itās suffocating.
it sounds real nice the relationship you have with your sisters. I wonāt ever be able to do that. Iād be too uncomfortable.
Not just girls !! Losing this adorable little weasel certainly made my daughter & I

cry... and hard , my late , beloved ferret , Miss Woolworth , lost her last year to accidental death , grief is certainly something to never bottle up , I also had her her 1/2 polecat chunky daughter , Polefat , she went missing April last year , believe claimed by someone else , so this was a double blow. This was Wool with my daughter...
THAT'S BULL SHITthere should never be a moment in your life where you are sad enough or hurt enough or made to feel like crying
l know that things happen in our lives that are beyond our control if you don't know the answer you should have someone in your life that does and that someone is no other than
GOD
the only reason for anyone to cry is because you are happy
eather for yourself or someone else
there should only be tears of joy coming from eyes that God has to you
Hmm. Crying has its purpose, time, and place for EVERYONE.
Honestly... I'm a believer... But this post just send annoying to me... And not cuz it's religious...
All I'm hearing is there shouldn't be a reason to cry... That cuz of God you should only be happy...
But that's not how it works... Should or shouldn't... People still get hurt... People still cry.
And even from a religious point... God isn't some happy pill... He's a rock to help you find yourself and help you threw pain... Not magically make all the pain not there
Yes... Threw him you can become strong and weather any storm... But not my making it so nothing bad ever happens to you... But by giving you the strength to make it threw the bad times
If someone said they never cried then they are a heartless bastard , but crying in a sense is good cuz it makes you stronger , now if you cry all the time then you got some issues but itās normal to cry if you lose a loved one or or as a kid you fell off your bike or you got beat up then itās all normal reactions , now if someone is crying cuz they didnāt get their way then. That crying is just pathetic lol
I don't regret the moments I cried hard but they never really did me any good except vent out. As I grew older, I trained myself to be a "toughie" although I'm a "softie" when it comes to heart-warming and/or heart-breaking stories and movie/television scenes.
I think it is important for people to cry if they need to and if in a comfortable and supportive environment. As in I'm sure there could be situations in which crying can be hugely humiliating and have a negative impact on the person. Men should cry too it's an efficient biological process and most of the great stoics cried and endorsed it in moderation.
although i do it rarely, i do cry every once in awhile just for the sake of it... i'm not an emotional person but it makes me feel better for some weird reason to just get my emotions out there
Yes!
I believe it is important for everyone to cry. Crying doesnāt make you weak. Itās important to let out your emotions. Itās important for guys to cry too when he their emotions are just to overwhelming. Society made it that boy have to be brave and strong but I think crying and expressing your feelings are the bravest and strongest things a person can do
I'm not sure. I try not to cry, I just feel it plays too much into stereotypes about girls. But yea I do see the point that maybe its important for a girl to cry sometimes. It does seem to help us get over things. I'm kind of on the fence with this question. I don't think its 100% important but I think sometimes it can help. But like I said I usually hold back tears because I do not want to be looked at as emotional or a "typical girl"
I totally agree but I think it's important for both genders to do this. But I think girls experience more emotions at times more than men so it's good to let them out over time... To release them to feel better
In my family, crying was a sign of weakness and therefore if I was upset enough to cry then I was berated often.
My partner said it is natral for me to cry and it is better letting it out, it does make me feel better on the whole
Crying is one of the best āhappy makingā medicines out there. It is proven that crying helps you get over grief much faster than keeping those tears in. So come on ladies let those waterfalls gush down.
Itās important for every person to get their feelings out, not just women.
I for one, love a good cry.
men should be allowed to have them, too without judgment.
I am a woman and cry over the deaths in my family ! I think that men and women should both cry when they feel like it and let others say what they want about it for crying does help those who do it
I cry when I drop a cookie on the floor during my period lol
Yes, I know the feeling!
I literally never cry unless I am really suffering internally, and I mean seriously suffering.
Even then, I donāt feel better afterwards and I look like a train wreck for days after!
Tears may accompany taking a large, engorged peen deep in the butt. There is nothing wrong with it in my opinion but some may call you a snowflake if it happens. So be prepared for that. :)
Yes, girls need to cry. It's a natural part of their development... just like drinking, breathing and eating... it's a necessary natural function. It's like emotional defecation to remove the toxins from their mind.
Well, not just girls, but also guys/men. They're (in my opinion) the ones who need to release their repressed pain more, because it can end up affecting their physical and mental health in the long run if they keep it inside.
I think it's important for everyone to cry. If you hold in that pain or sorrow you become aggressive and angry. But if you let it go you can start to heal and become stronger. It is all about being human.
Whether they want to cry is their own affair, but I think women should support each other in most things ( not in terms of abortion because I am pro-life), but I think from what I see about your gender women need a circle of friends they can turn to when they get catcalled or their husband/boyfriend hurts them. Emotional support from other women is what beer is to men I think. I believe if Donald Trump wasn't a teetotaler he would be a better man and president.
Its a natural coping mechanism. I will cry on a rare occasion if I feel like it. Holding it back doesn't help. I cried when my cat died. and the next day I was fine. If I didn't cry I would have felt bad for a longer period of time.
Of course if anyone but my fiancée see me cry I have to kill them but its worth it overall, even with the extra funerals and such
Not only for girls. Crying actually is a form of expression that helps to release your emotional burden.
I think it's important for anyone, any gender, to cry. It's good, healthy way to release those emotions.
I think too that it is necessary and important. I think that for girls it is a biological-psychological necessity.
Aren't the words WOMEN and CRYING pretty much closely related to each other?
But so do MEN. However UNFORTUNATELY it's not socially accepted. We still have a long way to go on this matter.
Crying is important for everybody, scientifically. Man, woman, adult, child, everyone.
I think it's important for everyone to cry with how heavy life can be.
Everyone needs to cry, these dudes out here need to catch up
If the shoe doesnāt fit, donāt fucking wear it @Juxtapose
@Juxtapose ok
I think it's important for people in general to cry, not just girls. I actually like songs that get me to tear up. It's a cathartic feeling for me. A release of feelings.
I feel everyone can use a good cry every now and then...
As long as they don't do it while I'm taking my clothes off
Why did you address this question only to girls? Just curious.
If you look back at my preface, I was inspired for the question by a lady on the radio that was discussing women's health and said that part of that for women was the actual need to cry. I thought about opening it up to the bigger question but that was my specific interest for the question so I decided to leave it narrow to that.
It is so easy to offend people on this site regarding many gender specific questions, I know, but it was not my intention to do so. Thank you for asking :)
Depending on my emotional state at times I cry very easily. If I am going to be honest it does seem to help some times. Not every time.
Believe me... It's not just good for Girls, either.
No. I after crying I'm still going to feel bad, just as bad
Awe :(
It desponds it sometimes work but just more a pain relief. I don't like hugging at all. I prefer my own bubble.
I would not like to see you cry, you are very beautiful, but... women are more emotional and men must have the sensitivity to never hurt a girl.
The way you put this question is quite stupid honestly. How is this gender related? And why would forcing yourself fo cry be a good thing? People cry when they feel like.
I think it's important for anyone to cry, regardless of gender, we could all use that emotional release when we really need it.
I sometimes just get really upset and cry, I don't know why but this overwhelming feeling of sadness and have a good cry and it helps me come back to what I call normal...
Yes so they can release the pain that they have whether it's physical or emotional
i mean if someone wants to cry cry no shame in that
It's important for everyone to cry, it's a good relief... Wish i could have a shoulder, someone to lean on when I'm crying :( :'(
I guess it depends how often you cry. I know some girls who cry waaay too much to the point were itās very annoying and you lose respect for them
The only benefit to me that a girl cries is so I can drink her tears and grow a unicorn horn
Crying is a good therapy for humans. Female or Male. Adult or child. Period.
Okay
It's important to cry, no matter who you are, if you have a gender or not. The psychological reactions your body has to crying are largely positive.
It's rather silly, but being a drama magnet isn't good for the mental health of a male or female.
Sometimes a good cry is just what I need.
YES! :)
Crying is natural for everyone and we should cry when we want to.
I don't know Iām not the typical girl. It just makes me feel weak and I hate it. Also, it adds to my frustrations. Didnāt choose B because it does something, but only in the opposite direction. Get what I mean?
Crying relieves stress for men too. Why only for women? Too much time in ur hands
I would cry after a death of something significant to me but otherwise, I don't feel enough emotion to do that.
Yes but not all time... crying makes one beautiful most times
I hate crying. I cry so easily and I just can't control it. most of the time it does nothing, just makes my head hurt afterwards
