Why most women play too hard to get?

Most women play too hard to get, and the others would be easy to get.. I'm not saying she should be easy to get, but like in-between, a mix of both, the kind that you feel you're challenged to get, and not the kind that you feel you have to try your hardest to impress... thoughts?

Just want to point out, I'm not talking about rejection in any form possible, because there's a fine line between rejection and playing hard.. Also I'm speaking from my society's/Community point of view, not other places, so this question goes in general form but it doesn't define any woman out there... and yeah i know it shows that I'm from the US but I'm not even near there.

I really don't think that most women do play hard to get. I think it is more the exception. But it is real annoying when they do. I just move on from there as I won't play that game.

An inflated sense of self worth. A lot of ugly and average women are easy marks for attractive men who target them for hookups. Irrespective of whether they put out or not, this makes them think they're that 10/10 when in reality they're most definitely not. A lot of these women end up alone in their middle to late age because no one wants them, which makes them bitter and jaded thus highly aggressive. Attractive women are hard to get because they're few and far between and highly sought after, so competition is fierce and this pushes the balance of power in their favour except where men are exceedingly wealthy and/or equally or more attractive.
