Is it normal my girlfriend made a "pinky promise" with this male coworker of hers? why? she told him "i'm your biggest fan here, I love ur energy"?

WHy would they make a pinky promise to each other? what the hell does it mean anyway? and should i be concerned? she posted a story of her dog on instagram, and she reply to the story saying "I love the dog"... she told him "he'll get to meet you one day then". am i exaggerating?

I’d so there is no need to be concerned, “pinky promises” are not serious indicators of attraction or anything more serious than playful interactions. It seems she was just being kind and friendly to a coworker of hers!
