Why do girls like to make guys feel sad, desperate and depressed?

I'm trying pretty much everything I can, trying to meet girls. I play guitar, skateboard, I'm athletic and played football and baseball. It's kind of sad really I'm at this point where I feel like every girl I meet is trying to make me depressed. I don't get it all I want is a girlfriend and I end up meeting a slut that ignores me after the second date or or someone who is ignorant and stuck up and tries to make me look bad. I just want a girl who is positive and who is full of trust and caring and appreciates me for who I am.

I don't know your experiences, but I doubt that all these girls were intentionally trying to make you depressed (though if they were, then I know how you feel and I'm sorry you had to go through that :( ). I got to say that I feel you on this one as far as guys go because it doesn't seem to matter how amazing you are because they only want a certain type of person.

I don't know how much advice I can give you because I'm in the same boat, however, what helps me out is thinking about the idea of there being one man, in your case, woman, who loves you are, despite your weaknesses, and expresses their whole-hearted love through honor, respect, loyalty, trust and a kind heart. A person who would give up every other person in the world, present, past and future, to be able to spend the rest of their life with you. You can take solace in the fact that this is the only way I know how to love someone, so girls like us exist. :)

very great comment. I'm not ready for a deep connection yet I just want a girl who is interested in what I'm doing and is a friend who wants to do things when I want to and I would do the same whenever she wanted to visa versa. More of like a girlfriend to depend on when I want to be around her or she wants to be around me.

Understandable. Just know that not all women are the same out there. There's a reason why diamonds are so valuable, they're worth looking for even though they are hard to find. ;)

I can only speak for myself, but that would never be a particular goal. Actually, I found out that one person was feeling anxious about conversing with me and finally made him come clean with his feelings. Now we're fine, but he thought I was acting to elicit a certain type of behavior or favoritism from him and I wasn't -- at all! -- I was just being myself, which is basically friendly and generous. I was going through a stressful time and he rushed to help -- maybe a little too much. I was so out of it that I didn't question the help till one day communication got totally weird, so I had to sit down and review the situation with him. Like I said, we're fine now, but it took months of prodding and persistent conversation to get him to open up so I could finally redress the misconception and modify my own behavior.

Some girls do like to make guys feel that way, but most of us don't. Either, you've been dating the wrong kinds of girls, or they just didn't intend to make you feel that way. Either way, I'm sure that there is a girl out there that would love nothing more than to be with you and hang out, doing fun things together. To me, you sound like a great guy, so good luck on finding a good girl out there. Honestly, I really wish that I could help you find a great girl because everyone deserves a great person. I'm sorry that you haven't found a girl yet. I'm sure you will though.

I believe this has something to do with past emotional pain in most instances and isn't exclusive to women; people who've been hurt before find relief in causing the same type of pain they experienced to others. It's sad, but you have to forgive the ones like this- they often do it at their own cost and forget about the ones who do it just for fun.

Just because you feel bad after something they did doesn't mean they intended to.

There's a difference my girl makes guys feel bad without knowing I do so on purpose.

Not all girls like to make guys feel sad, desperate, and depressed.

And just because you feel that way doesn't mean they did it intentionally.

Not all women are evil bloodsucking creatures trying to make you feel useless and depressed. However, I'm sure you will definitely meet these women at one point in your life. But the power is ultimately in your hands to let them make you feel like that.

If you want that to change, change how you approach relationships. Maybe you're meeting these women through the wrong people or places. Expand your search and don't go for the usual b*tches you've been going for :)

Aww that makes me so sad. Some girls find amusement in others misery. I don't enjoy it since everyone does it to me. Don't worry you will find a great girl. You are cute and have great qualities about yourself

That's right there are a lot of jerks and I don't think it has become shallow. I think it's more about when is a girl going to respect me for being the best I can while at the same time being trustworthy and caring because I know I can be that way so I would expect the same from her if I'm putting in the extra effort.

im no expert on this but it sounds like you are dating the wrong kind of girls try asking a girl out that does not seem to be on a high horse maybe a girl who is not poplar and kinda shy these kind of girls really make the best of friend and or girl friends
