I am kinda introvert i have 3 or 4 close friends i hang out with them , i am popular may be at college but i am not that kind of a social person My relations with girls are a real problem in my life They would always give me their looks I have had eye contact with nearly every girl i liked But i am kinda shy I am good looking but with a nerdy look I look like a good boy u know I never took the first step cuz of fear of rejection and when i decided to do , i added a girl on fb she was my peer at college , she would always flirt with me But she didn't accept the request nor did she decline , she stalled she left it unanswered What does that mean? Do girls just use me to gain an attention? I got an impression that no one is serious with me They just like my appearance , enjoy exchanging looks, may be they are curious about me But they wouldnot want to know a nerdy guy

The problem with nerdy people is that they are perceived as possibly antisocial that are only interested in their activity.

Nobody really likes to come second behind a hobby, an activity or something that takes up the entire time of the nerdy person.

Also, looks are subjective and you may see yourself as handsome but does everyone share the same point of view? You fear rejection but rejection is part of the dating game. If you want a serious relation, then you have to be ready to be rejected.

You have to become proactive yourself and perhaps change the way you dress or your hairstyle. Learn to communicate with others or take up a hobby where you can meet people sharing the same interests. If you talk the same "language" as others do, then you will find people that are interested in you and perhaps even accept your nerdiness.
