What does it mean when a woman stares at you when she walks away?

This was actually at work, so I turn my head and the new girl I noticed staring me down as she was walking away. She does have a boyfriend at the job with her and at that particular time he wasn’t with her

I have a similar story. 6/30/21 my coworkers and I went to Dave and Busters after work. I was the first one there so I was just walking around. I started to think nobody was going to show up so I was going to leave. Fast forward: everyone showed up. Fast forward again: I was standing next to a game by myself and I noticed that a girl coworker was standing across from me. At work it’s like I don’t exist to her and she doesn’t go out of her to talk to me. I’m used to people not talking to me. I thought she was going to walk away because she found me but she didn’t. If I stay quiet because she knows that I don’t talk is she going to walk away? Nope she didn’t walk away. She was just staring at me… should I just walk away 🤷‍♂️. I asked her if she wanted to play that game (coincidentally it was 2 players) so we sat next to each other and played one time. We’ve been around each other 4-5 weeks at work like in the same room. She hardly said a word a majority of the time but she would talk to her other coworkers. We hung out again twice in August and she would talk to me (even tried to get me to talk to her)…? She didn’t want to hangout anymore after that even though I asked. It seems like the only time she’ll actually talk to me is outside of work even if it’s a couple of words so that’s the only reason why I asked her.

What are the chances she doesn’t find you attractive and she sees you as a potential threat or she’s try’s staring at you as she walks away” just to make sure she’s safe?

She acts shy, looks at her phone or looks down whenever she sees me. She’s even look down even if I just look in her direction. When I’m not necessarily looking at her.

Are you doing anything that may come across threatening? And the looking down thing is just avoiding eye contact. This can be done for many reasons. She's shy and doesn't want you to know she finds you attractive. She feels guilty that she finds you attractive and it toung to avoid encouraging those feelings. Or she knows you fancy her and she doesn't want to encourage that either.

But she’s very tiny 5 feet maybe, and I’m massive 6”5 with a lean muscle frame
