Why do girls compliment me in the club?

I am a bouncer who stands on the dance floor, one the youngest and most attractive.

The compliments I often get are:

1. I love your chain
2. Your extremely cute
3. Your fucking hot

Most often the girl will say it as she is passing by me. I know some women go to the club to get guys to give them free drinks, free access or just to get validation - not trying to get used. I ask because there has been times where I've gone straight to the point in asking for the girls number or having her come home with me only for her to seem like she lost interest.

Ladies, are you shooting your shot or just paying a simple compliment?

I've slept with quite a few girls though, so just trying to understand when to simply say thank you and when to get the number.

as for ur last question, after they compliment u once, i suppose u could just ask for a number if u find them attractive cuz rejection isn’t going to rlly matter, since people have to get through the door behind them so if she says no then she just moves on into the club and you continue bouncering
